The staff and cleanliness at the place I stayed during my trip were excellent. Despite arriving at the hostel around midnight, I had no trouble checking in. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. I’d recommend it to families who enjoy nature.

The couches in the lounge probably need new upholstery. It does get a bit loud in there, a little soundproofing on the ceiling would help people keep their voice down.

It feels a like a big house. The staff is very friendly. Although it is officially a ‘youth hostel’, there are more grownups around, if that makes anyone feel better. :)) Location is nice, with views to green hills. The Breakfast is also a plus. I would come back again.

I shared the room with three other people. Their shoes smelled really bad. Unfortunately, the airflow in the room wasn't very good. The window was open but didn't really help. Further, the room and facilities were clean.

Too noisy in the evening in the common room/bar wit kids who were shouting and running around inside all evening long. The cleaning of the rooms could be better, i don’t like spiders hanging on th seiling 😉

A nice place to stay, cosy, simple, good. Very good location to start a walk or bike trip.

The bathroom was a drawback, as it had a significant mold and humidity issue and could use a deep clean. This was disappointing and affected the overall experience.

Great location, right next to forest trails, making it perfect for nature walks. The breakfast was surprisingly good with plenty of options. There's a large area with a fireplace, plus a ping pong table for activities. The staff were helpful and attentive. Overall, a very comfortable place to stay with everything you need nearby.

Attraction for large groups of cyclists due to the beautiful area. Don't expect a nice quiet lobby in the evening (at least not in the weekends I suppose)

Excellent receptionist, fluent in French as well as Dutch among others. The hostel offers multiple recreational outdoor summer activities, a bar that's still affordable and the breakfast is a convincing element for booking this place

Since it has shared rooms like a dormitory, I believe there should be some rules keep the stay comfortable for all. My room mates were first coming at around 11:00PM where I was already in bed for my hiking the next day, dumping their stuff and making their beds, then leaving and coming back at 2:30AM to sleep, making more noise and chatting.

Friendly and kind staff, clean rooms. It has a great location and a pretty enough breakfast for the day.

The wifi was a bit unstable in our room. Also, this is probably because it is a hostel, but it was a bit of a surprise to us that we had to make our own beds and also take the sheets to the laundry room upon checkout. The hostel is a bit outside of the town of Malmedy.

We only stayed here for one night, so didn't use any facilities the hostel has to offer. However, the beds were comfortable. The rooms are not that large, but we liked the fact that it contained a separate sink, shower and toilet, so you could still use the toilet while someone was in the shower and wash your hands afterwards. A good breakfast was included in the price, which makes sure you get excellent value for money when staying here.

It was very warm and a bit far from town. But it was simple and I was stuck after the Belgium GP so it was a great option. I was very grateful to find a last minute bed.

The beds were not very comfortable as they were very basic causing me to wake up multiple times. The staff moving furniture in the hallway at 8 AM.

The surroundings were pretty, the sound isolation was pretty good as I couldn't hear the singing/music from outside when in the bedroom.
