Good beach location although the walk out to the sea is rocky and we had seaweed for the last 5 days of our stay

Only two bottles of water were provided in the room on arrival and not replenished, even if you were on the all inclusive package bottled water was chargeable from the bars which didn’t make sense. Although there was a water station by the beach area.

Very relaxed atmosphere, staff are very friendly and helpful room was very nice and comfortable, everywhere was kept very clean.

The hotel recommended SunTours for airport transfers and that was a stressful mistake. They were half-hour late and I almost missed my plane. The hotel desk clerk said they had previous issues with SunTours and her supervisor had been informed, yet the hotel is still recommending them.

I really enjoyed my stay and thought it was a good value. The room was lovely with a vaulted ceiling, very large, vanity area and wetbar area, large closet, and nice balcony as well. Some bathroom fixtures are not the most modern but everything clean and fully functional. Internet was fast and reliable. The resort is small and intimate; for me that was a plus. Food is average. I thought staff could be more attentive and responsive - but after my time here I recognize that as the laid back style of Barbados.

The only drawback back was that the beach wasn’t safe for swimming, but the hotel arranged to take us to Carlisle beach several times. Carlisle is just 10 minutes away and is an absolutely beautiful beach.

The see Infront of the hotel, beautiful but not for swimming (swallow and rocky). However, if you are a surfer you will love the spot

The beach was too rocky which really spoils it you can sunbathe but when it gets too hot you can't just go into the sea for a cool down The food was ok, breakfast could do with more fruits This hotel is not for disabled or somebody that can't climb stairs there are stairs everywhere with only one lift.

Very cool architecture, beach access and good food options as well as a really well equipped gym. The rooms had a good size and from most of the rooms you can access the pool directly which is a great feature

There needs to be a step provided as an aid to getting in/out of bed; this is particularly so if you are short or have a disability. Unfortunately I was both. Having this available will be good as it gives your guest the choice.

Breakfast was good and there was variety to choose from. All the Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Was provided with a wheelchair back to my room. Was assisted to and from restaurant as it was raining and the path to the beach front restaurant was slippery and dangerous. The friendly staff made my stay enjoyable as they were always willing to help. Any issues or problems I encountered were dealt with promptly. The staff are hard workers from my observations.

I found it extremely dangerous that the stairs were not regularly mopped and kept as dry as possible. Given the number of levels to climbs those with slippers were accidents waiting to happen.

Facilities generally clean, staff receptive, views nice and the location ideal for me.

The room wasn’t the cleanest. The shower and bedroom mats were dirty as well as the tub and shower curtain. The grout in the tiles were black (which indicates a lot of dirt) and air was stuffy and a bit musty. The couch needed a deep clean. I didn’t like that there was not a consistent supply of bottled water. I believe water is something that should be provided daily to guests as a necessity.

General atmosphere and infrastructure

Rocky sea floor makes direct access at the front of the property difficult. However a short walk 50 metres either side of the property make’s access much easier.
