    It had everything you needed at the right level of quality- plus there is a free boat transferring you to the sister hotels which meant more options for dinning. Staff super helpful and accommodating.

    The noisy birds early in the morning were a bit annoying

    The staff were friendly

    Nothing to do with very little facilities and limited entertainment. We had a suite (really expensive) but it was old and tired and not well maintained. Food was basic and main restaurant is open with no air conditioning and buffet style every night so it is uncomfortable in hot weather.

    Location was excellent, food was OK (taste not presentation)

    No value for money, the property was dated, everything was old and broken, 80% of the staff has no clue about the service industry and was often rude.

    Didn’t stay for breakfast. We left way too early for that.

    The room was bla. There wasn’t any shower gel,in the shower gel bottle, the towel bar fell off the wall, the dust ruffle on the bed was falling off the bed. Overall it was wayyyyy too expensive for what we got.

    Location on the beach fabulous Rum punch Position of our suite right over the beach which was lovely Dolorais was such a lovely lady Sun beds plentiful and very comfortable

    Mixture of staff, some were lovely but most kind of not interested especially restaurant side The room was so so tired, water coming in the doors and ceiling which made it deadly slippy, water pressure, for the shower it was dreadful and my husband could not stand straight under the shower as it was so low he’s 6ft Food was at best average The wine available was dire practically un drinkable not difficult to just have a nice wine not expensive No entertainment as such supposed to have steel band didn’t see them the DJ choice of music was so bad did he not see the average person staying would not like the stuff he was playing First person to service our room in and out drinks not replenished in the fridge second person did a great job and cleaned the balcony which was very messy even on our arrival The Tv in the bedroom the wiring all hanging of a extension plug very dangerous sticking out it was huge and so unnecessary bigger than the one in the lounge area No curtains upstairs open plan so sunlight streaming in at 5.30 ish Paint from damp peeling of the walls

    The location is perfect

    The cleanliness in general was shocking. Reception had tissues on the floor, litter was not picked up around the site, a towel was left on a chair in the lounge area for a couple of hours with numerous staff walking past. The bars ran out of glasses constantly and the ones they did have were dirty, banks beer had to be drunk out of a can. Restaurant was filthy with rubbish on the floor and the quality of food was well below 2 star. All we ate whilst there was cheese and biscuits on the date of arrival, we then had to pay at restaurants outside of the hotel.

    The location was good and rooms were clean.

    Very old and outdated, and was quite small. Only one of the 2 restaurants was open. No air conditioning or refrigeration for food. Decoration was old fashioned, ceilings were peeling. The staff were not bothered and very into themselves and laughing and joking. No guide was given about the hotel facilities, or recommendations on tours or what to do in the area. No leaflets or maps available. There were limited sun-beds available which were taken up by the early risers, and when you did find a free spot the waiters did not come over even once and asked if we wanted a drink at anytime. No service or assistance to buy medicine for insect bites or even help from the concierge.

    The location was great - we booked 3 rooms which were all in the same location. The hotel is nicely located and easy to get around the island and being all -inclusive was great. The Cove Bar was very cool- Nice setting next to in in the swimming pool. Quite a lot of the watersport was freely available - although occasionally the sea was too rough and we couldn't use boat activities.

    Unfortunately quite abit. Although we arrived early, we weren't showed any of the property and what we could and couldn't do, what was included and on offer and what not. We waited well past our check in time to get our rooms. The beds were nice, however the pillows were very thick and difficult to sleep on. The duvet covers/inners were lumpy as if washed and dried in lumps. There were no ipod docks/USB in the rooms, and none of our international plugs worked in the rooms, so we had a struggle to charge all our phones between the 3 rooms. Alot of the staff weren't as friendly and helpful and just did what was asked for but didnt go above and beyond to help eg beach towels run out on 2 occasions or find alternatives if something were not available. The food was average and was typical hotel buffet food.- more choice and better quality will be amazing The 'bird' netting around the restaurant was off putting which could be such a lovely setting. We booked a massage and had to ask several times where to go to? Finally we asked for a late checkout or courtesy room, which we booked in for, and on checkout time, we were told it wasn't available and was't offer any alternatives- so we had to use the beach shower/towels (which we manage to find after being told - sorry we run out) and public toilets to change into our travelling clothes. We appreciate it is a busy hotel, but the customer care can be improved on. Overall our hotel stay was a disappointment as a 4 star and on the trip advisors list for hotels to stay in Barbados yet there are alot of areas it can improve.

    Great location, right on the beach. Wide range of water sports included in the price. Rooms clean and spacious. Most of the staff incredibly friendly and ready to help.

    Two staff members could have taken the shine of our stay but they were far outweighed by the others

    Excellent location of west coast perfect for sunsets. Great coffee bar open from 6am! Excellent air conditioning. Car park. Good wireless coverage and decent speed although failed a couple of days.

    Hotel is closing for desperately needed refurbishment. Our room had a cracked bath that had been slap dash repaired with silicon. Bath edges slap dash amateur silicon job. The grouting was dirty and one basin didn't work. Staff attitude varied from lovely to surly. The lovely staff were tremendous. The rude staff were sullen and took the shine off things. In fairness many will be losing their jobs at the end of this year and really couldn't give a stuff. A shame as consistent and good service covers a multitude of sins. Music in common areas was horrific - Bon Jovi "It's My Life" over breakfast at 7am - so loud we couldn't hear one another. Or Christmas Albums in September next morning. The pools are small. Barbados is an expensive place. And while this is amongst the worst hotel I have stayed in you have to view it vs. the cost of other places and there were as I said above many positives. Food adequate with some bright spots. Likewise wine.

    The staff were very friendly and the beach was beautiful. The pools were a lot of fun.

    There was only one restaurant open for each meal and mostly buffet. The quality of the food was so so.
