This was my second time in The Good Place, and it was great to be back. It's right at the center of the city, with great people -host or guest- and conversation.

Igor’s place is where you go to meet the one local you absolutely have to meet (Igor) and the funny travelers who keep coming back again and again, drawn by the hostel’s great party vibe. It’s a very cool spot with views over the main street, but the real highlight is the host and the people you meet there. Everyone seems to end up extending their stay. The location is perfect—especially if you’re doing SFF—since it doesn’t get more central than this.

Everything was great, Igor made me feel at home from the beginning and it was a very pleasant stay. Clean, comfortable, good location and a very good ambiance between the guests, with a lot of rakija and tequila!

When I was looking for a place I found these gorgeous reviews about this great host: Igor. I must say that caught my attention. And I’m glad it did because Igor is amazing. He is like a friend, a host, a tourist guide, a Sarajevo ambassador, a stand-up comedian, a therapist… all at once. He is genuine and he speaks a lot of languages. He is also very kind and he loves his hostel and what he does. And you can tell. When I go back to Sarajevo I’m gonna go back this great hostel. For sure. The place is full of details like a small pockets to put your cellphone or anything else, there are two bathrooms and showers for men and women. He has lots of stories to share and he is fun. Thanks so much Igor, ya me estoy calmando amigooo jajaja

I had an amazing stay at The Good Place Hostel! From the moment I arrived, Igor, the owner, made me feel incredibly welcome. He’s one of the friendliest hosts I’ve met on my travels — always smiling, helpful, and genuinely cares about his guests. The hostel itself is very clean, organized, and cozy. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. It honestly felt like home, not just because of the comfort, but also because of the warm atmosphere. Everyone staying there connected like a little family, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sarajevo. The hangover from the rakija on the last night.

Igor the host easily made this stay. I won't index all of his qualities as a human and host as there is already enough evidence in previous reviews. But, during my stay he was present and created a friendly, social, fun environment for all. We had some great discussions about Sarajevo and everything that comes with it. He is a bro. The hostel itself, the location is bang on, could walk anywhere easily with ease. I came with a smile on my face and left laughing tears of rakija. What a crack.

Not a 'didn't like' as such, but I did miss having cooking facilities as I'm travelling for an extended period. That being said, there’s still a kettle and small kitchenette and a myriad of places to eat around the hostel. I'd absolutely stay again.

I absolutely loved my time at Igor's hostel - The Good Place. It truly lives up to its name. Igor takes the time to make each guest feel welcome and has a wonderful balance between playful humour and care for his guests. The location is great and the rooms are not overcrowded. The lockers are a great size and the beds comfortable. As a female solo traveller, safety is always a consideration. There were absolutely no red flags here, just good vibes! :)

I wish I could have stayed longer. Igor is helpful and a good person. The location of the hostel is very good. Rooms, floors, toilets and linen are clean. It is very enjoyable to chat in the evening If I come to Sarajevo again, I will definitely stay here again.

The host, Igor, is a beautiful soul—he knows a lot about Sarajevo and is genuinely happy to share his knowledge. Also, he uses 100% of his brain! Your Sarajevo trip won’t be complete without a chat with him. The rooms are spacious and squeaky clean, the beds have curtains (yes, curtains!), and the showers are simply a perfection. The wall is a masterpiece. The quality-to-value ratio is exactly what anyone would hope for. Hvala, The Good Place!
