How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

See through bathroom window and door…. Trendy but not what a family needs Parking a bit of a lottery!
Very nice staff - all so friendly Excellent location - a short walk 7 mins to the centre (longer on the way back as it is up a hill!) Very good variety of food at breakfast

Nothing not to like
Warm reception very clean and tidy . Fabulous double bedded suite with separate seating area and balcony , which was unexpected. We were on motorbikes and they put them in secure parking. The staff couldn’t do enough for us . Advised on where to eat which again was fabulous. Would definitely stay here again .

no restaurant at the hotel, but just 8-10min to downtown, therfor no issue
perfect stay during a motorcycle tour incl. private parking. excellent support by the staff. because of having no restaurant it was arranged to get some food on site - thanks for this

This is a terrific accommodation: the staff are pleasant and helpful, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It is also a just a short walk to the Old Town of Sarajevo, though it is a steep walk back!

Hotel Aziza is one of those places you just want to come back to. I stayed there with my family and honestly, everything was top-notch. The location is great – quiet and peaceful, yet very close to the old town, so you can easily walk to all the main attractions. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very cozy. Breakfast was delicious – lots of options, everything fresh and tasty, including some great local dishes worth trying. The biggest highlight, though, was the staff – incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They assisted us with a few things, gave great tips on what to see and where to eat. You could really feel that they care about their guests. The only thing to keep in mind is the parking – it’s available on-site, but a bit tight, especially for larger vehicles. Still, it’s manageable with some careful maneuvering. I truly recommend this place. If I ever visit Sarajevo again, I’ll definitely stay at Aziza.

If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the coffee — it could be improved, considering that Bosnia is famous for its excellent coffee.
The hotel is very nice and well maintained. Baščaršija is less than a 10-minute walk away — on the way, you pass a lovely street full of small cafés and shops, perfect for tasting Bosnian coffee. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a refrigerator (stocked with various drinks at very reasonable prices — if you wish), a kettle with tea and coffee, a sofa, and a small table with two chairs. The bathroom was big and clean, with toiletries provided. Breakfast included both hot and cold dishes, as well as pastries — all very tasty. The receptionist was very helpful. Free parking is available in front of the hotel.

The location is on a steep hill, the breakfast was disappointing, very old fruit displayed.
The room is clean and comfortable, no view from mine but that's ok, front desk service was awesome.

On top of hill so you need to be fairy fit to walk up the hill, especially for older people and young kids . Parking spaces are also very limited

Nothing to dislike about the hotel.
Great family run hotel, clean room and brilliant breakfast. Short walk to centre of Sarajevo. We had a room with a small balcony facing the centre and views of the hills surrounding the city.

Some of the lights don’t work in the room. The breakfast is rubbish. The coffee is undrinkable and the orange juice non existant
The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were very nice. There is a lift. It is a very nice hotel, just a short walk down the hill to the old town. Get a taxi back up the hill
