As like many hostels, rooms, bathrooms. Some extra hooks put up everywhere to hang clothes up would be a big help. Also this bathroom didn't have a proper lock on it, something's in this place need abit of attention.

Location was great, nice little room, snacks available to buy downstairs if arriving back late after everything else has closed. Good idea.

The walls are a little thin so you can quite easily hear people outside.

Everything! The owner contacted me via WhatsApp before, and he was so nice to have a good check in experience. The place only has 5 rooms, it's not crowded at all. The rooms are also decorated and it feels cozy. Good location. Has a small self operating kiosk + coffee machine with fair prices. Also, there's free hot water and a microwave available. For the price I paid, it's definitely one of the best accommodations I've been.

My room wasn't properly cleaned as I could see some spider nets and the floor felt a bit dirty. Though the bed sheets were fresh so I didn't mind that much. Also it smelled a bit like cigarettes but I understand that it's an older house and if the smell is stuck in the walls it's impossible to get 100 % rid of the smell.

The owner, even though I never met him face to face, was really friendly and responded quickly through Whatsapp. I really appreciated the opportunity to store your luggage in the place after check out. The bed was comfortable and the location good and near the old town (I didn't really mind the climb since I only did it twice during my visit). All in all worth the price, and a good option for a short visit☺️

Based on personal experience, I just struggled to reach the location, it is an uphill location, so if you are carrying luggage, it will be a little struggle especially since some of the path roads are made of granite. There is only 1 toilet and bath available for the 6 rooms in the house. Not the property's fault but, 1 guest is rude and has a very bad manner, he keeps knocking on the door of the toilet and keeps asking how long it would take to finish using the bathroom. This may ruin a trip because of the limited toilet and bath.

The host is well-appreciated and answers quickly via whatsapp, the room is also perfect. The location is near to mostly tourist spot.

The price is affordable but unfortunately the structure is really old and run down, poorly maintained and not exactly clean. Furniture, floors, carpets and bathroom in very poor condition. The photos do not reflect reality.

The location is good, only 10-15 minutes walk from the center although all uphill. The host is well organized and provided me with all the information via wapp: the code to enter for the main door, directions to the room and how to pay.

If there is anything, I think it is the availability of restaurants in the area, though there is a pizza shop nearby.

What I like about this hostel is it is affordable and offers a lot of amenities. It is a 10 minute walk uphill and with a google map, it is not hard to find. It is in a quiet neighborhood and communication is easy with the owner even though he is not around. Snacks and drinks were available at a cheap price. There is free drinking water. Yellow fortress is a few mins walk from the property.

Only one toilet with shower, located at the ground floor. Sometimes you have to wait long time, when it will be free. Also we had some problems with toilet, but the owner fixed it.

As others have mentioned the place is up an extremely steep hill which could cause problems if you're not used to hills / and or fitness level isn't so good. Don't take this message lightly. While I didn't face any problems with a toilet/shower jam. There is only one which is downstairs from the rooms.

The host/owner provided excellent communication via WhatsApp making things nice and easy. Check in and out was effortless and smooth. They had their own version of a self-service shop which was a really nice touch. The prices were also fair and not over extortionate as you might expect. My room was very spacious with a TV. The shower was nice and powerful with instant hot water. Location is really good as you're just a short walk - 4-5 minutes? - to where all the action is.

Need to share toilet with others. The place is quiet but the sound insulation of the room is not that good. The gas wasn't on, quite cold in the midnight.

Although it is a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room.

The owner was helpful and solution-oriented. The room is very spacious. Bascarsija is quite close if you don't mind walking up a bit of a hill.
