Bathrooms could have been cleaner. No shoes in the living area rule, I don't feel comfortable sharing crocs with strangers 😅 There could b3 more activities like pub crawls etc.

The backyard is really cool! Also the fact that there is a bar. The rooms are also very comfy and clean

Large group of high school students were occupying two of the dorms when I stayed there and doors were slamming all the time, shaking my entire bunk bed

Great social hostel that’s in a good location. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There is a bar that sells extremely cheap drinks. The beds have curtains and sockets by the beds. The wifi worked well.

The place is clean, very spacious, has lots of communal living spaces like the outside patio and the dorm room has an ac and a fan. Everyone that works there is very hospitable and the owner especially cares for his guests and makes sure everyone is comfortable and happy. The place has an extremely cheap bar with a cool vibe.

The only thing was that the room's air quality was not good.

It provides everything for a hostel. Sarajevo is a magical place and Balkan Han makes is even better if you are about to stay in a hostel. The garden is very nice. The kitchen is clean. I didn't have any problem with the facility. The staff was kind. Just bring lock for your stuffs.

My first-ever hostel stay and it nailed it. The beds were unexpectedly comfy and private, letting me have a good sleep. The vibe was just right, social without being overwhelming, it is really clean and has good facilities. Another plus is its absolutely top-notch location just a few minutes from the old town, shops and public transport. The staff are next‑level helpful, friendly, efficient and effortlessly cool. Plus, I loved sharing evenings in the lush garden patio with fellow travelers over a rakija toast. This was certainly a perfect first‑time hostel moment.

Bit noisy (mostly the large college group, but also the road…). The fan in the room only worked when the light was on, so not great for summer sleeping.

Great hostel in the heart of the city. No more than 30mins walk from the Central Bus/Train station. There is a bar in the hostel that serves cheap wine, beer and rakiya but it is not a party hostel which suited me well. There’s plenty of restaurants and bars around to continue partying if you want to. The staff were friendly and helpful and the vibes are good.

This place is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed like an old friend. The owner and the staff go above and beyond, not just tipical service. Super clean rooms, cozy common areas, and the vibe is really good. Location is spot-on too, everything’s right around the corner. The atmosphere is welcoming and uplifting, a perfect balance of relaxed and social. Honestly, it felt more like staying at a good friend’s place than a hostel. Highly, highly recommend.

Nothing, great place would stay again

The staff (Edin) was welcoming, friendly and chatty. Thank you for the rakija and restaurant suggestions! We booked the ensuite room, which is huge and includes a small kitchen with coffee. Shower pressure and hot water are exceptional Large TV in bedroom comes with many channels including movies and sports

You can't being alcohol so you are limited to one type of beer all night. My bed light didn't work, I told the staff and it wasn't fixed. The worst is the owner, sometimes he's rude and grumpy

The place has the social vibe, Edin is an excellent host and make everything right. Beds are comfy, showers are OK. Kitchen is small.

Great Staff, Unkas I believe he was called was particularly welcoming and considerate, but everybody who worked there was lovely! I only stayed for one night, but found the facilities to be great, bed comfortable, and overall experience ideal. Perfect location near to sights/transit in Sarajevo.
