A modest HONDO House feels like a true home, from its welcoming street view and thoughtfully chosen furniture to its warm, relaxed staff. Nestled atop one of Sarajevo’s most prominent hills, it offers a cosy atmosphere and a sense of ease. The smooth, pleasant promises certain return before long.

My stay was very nice. The place is located rather close to the old town.

Large three bed apartment with two small bathrooms and balcony overlooking Sarajevo. Amer the manager was particularly helpful going above and beyond to drive us to the clinic when one of our party was very unwell and looked after our wellbeing the whole time. Big thank you for that.

All was amazing except the wifi which was not good in the room I had in third floor but at the reception and first floor was quite well.

I really felt at home from the first second. The host, Damir, is a super nice guy. Everything was clean and well-organized. Supermarkets and snacks are nearby. The walk downhill into the city center is quick. If you are up for a hike, the mountains in the north of Sarajevo are not too far away.

The breakfast was very good. The location is up hill and highly qualified with good view. The manager was nice, cooperative and friendly

I had a lovely stay here. The single room was perfect for what I needed - comfy bed, quiet and very clean. The owner is so kind and helped me a lot during my stay. To get in to town is only a 10-15 min walk away down the hill, and there is a small supermarket and bakery nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

I am grateful for late check in, and to lovely host who helped me carrying my bags. Room is nice, sheets are clean and fresh, it is quiet in the morning, there is a fridge in the room. Parking place just in front. They let me leave my car there for some time so I can take a walk around. Very satisfied and would recommend.

We spent one night here. Everything was very good, the apartment is very comfortable with a big balcony. The owners are very friendly and helpful. :)

Very friendly host, good location, very good value for money

Great staff and service. I checked in late coming from Croatia, nonetheless I had a warm welcome at that late hour. The hotel is well situated near the city center and offers big rooms on 3 levels. Unfortunately I lost my credit card to a atm nearby but I was helped by Mr. Hondo and the staff calling their friends and the bank for support. That was amazing and so kind in that situation
