Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great comfortable bed. Nice and quiet. Carlos (manager), was absolutely amazing. Arranged a car rental for us when everyone else had nothing available. Clean room. Adults only. Being a small resort, very easy to make friends. This resort actually had hot water. Short 5 minute walk to the beach.

United KingdomIt is better to make sure you do book a car or vehicle either before you arrive in Aruba, or book one on arrival at the airport. As it will help you get about. There was nothing we found fault with at Yoyita Suites, and myself and my wife are in our 70s and are quites fussy.
We had a tranquil, peaceful time, the apartments were excellent, bright, clean, and spacious. The location of the suites apartments was just 7 minutes walk to Palm Beach. Carlos the host is first class, very friendly, and very very helpful, he made sure we were ok every day and if we needed anything, also his colleague Servilla was so kind and dropped us off at the beach, as we never had a car that day, the staff who serviced the rooms were lovely and so friendly. All in all we cannot fault Yoyita Suites at 7G Bakval, we do highly recommend it.

We loved the casual laid back vibe. Enjoyed meeting and talking with our neighbors. It’s kind of a close knit atmosphere. Carlos was the best! He gave us great info about things to do etc. Always making sure we were comfortable.

we love the coziness of this place. the staff is so welcoming. They tend to your needs with no hesitation. the rooms are beautiful. what you see is what you get. it’s only a five minute walk to the beach. The Marriott is across the street. They have Starbucks, Casino, stores, and you can plan your next activity. Taxis get there less than five minutes to pick you up. The downtown area is right around the corner. Go to MooMba at night for drinks and dancing. plenty of restaurants. Safe Safe Safe. No worries about crime. Here are your choices, 400 a night at Marriott compared to Yoyita’s price. It’s a no brainer.

Extremely clean. Comfortable bed. Convenient to beach. 10 -15 min walk depending on route the beach. Safe neighborhood to walk through late at night. Carlos made the experience above average. He was friendly, helpful and attentive to all our needs and questions. Taxi requests were promptly responded to. Taxis arrived within 5 minutes of call.

ChinaWe were a bit bothered by the mosquitoes in the yard there, not sure though how to avoid it, as we lived close to a wet area.
We enjoyed our stay in Yoyita Suites a lot. It is a small well maintained hotel with good rooms and a nice pool in the enclosed yard. Staff/owners are extremely friendly and helpfull and gave many excellent recommendations throughout our stay there. We like the location a bit away from the big hotels/beach area, and still close enough to easily walk there. The rooms have a small kitchenette, so we could make our own breakfast.

United Kingdomthe property is beautiful and the owners make it feel super special. they are accommodating, genuine and friendly. my boyfriend and I stayed at Riu palace for 9 nights and here at Yoyita Suites for 2 nights and although you can’t compare the 2 because they’re so different, this place felt so refreshing and intimate and we’re planning to stay here again. the rooms are immaculate, the beds are so comfortable and the room is equipped with everything you’d typically need whilst on vacation. they have the beach towels and cooler bucket which is a great touch. location is great, short walk to the beach and there is a mini market within walking distance too.
