Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNothing! Everything was amazing!
From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — every staff member, from the front desk to the restaurant team, housekeeping, and the pool staff, was attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to accommodate every request, and you could truly feel that they love their jobs and want guests to enjoy their stay. That’s real hospitality! The location is fantastic — close to other hotels, restaurants, and just a short walk to the beach. The pool area is lovely, the rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like beach towels and quality toiletries provided. Breakfast was delicious (the omelettes were a highlight!), and when we celebrated my husband’s birthday, the staff surprised us with a cake and even sang for him — such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip extra special. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with our experience. This hotel is the perfect value for money, and I highly recommend it to both families with kids and couples looking for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back!

CuraçaoThe breakfast area however, was somewhat congested, rather compacted, people bumping into each other, there is the need for some more space for the breakfast area. The checkin reception was somewhat confusing, so is getting to the hotel, signage was not clear all one could see was Courtyard Marriott.
Location was of the hotel was good. The breakfast itself was good, tasteful and varied. Restaurant personnel was great and wel mannered. Emy/Amy was very helpful and offered greta service.

United StatesSome breakfast items would run out quickly and not be refilled (fruits, pancakes, yoghurts) in time or at all. Beach beds are in demand on weekends, need to arrive at the beach a bit earlier (before 10 30 am).
Decent breakfast, friendly staff, well maintained facilities.

SwedenFeedback on Pool Maintenance I appreciate that the staff performs regular cleaning of the big pool every morning. However, I’ve noticed that the water quality in the big pool still seems to need more thorough maintenance or perhaps a deeper servicing to bring it up to the highest standard. On the other hand, the small pool has consistently been very clean and well-maintained. Feedback on Breakfast The quality of the food was very good and in line with the standards I expect from the Marriott Hotel Group. However, the selection seemed to be quite similar each day. Introducing a bit more variety would make the breakfast experience even better.
Pool , shuttle to the beach as well as the beach area. Cold drinking water on the beach is big plus. Kudos for management. Very smart

United StatesThe location was great. There is a party spot next door to the hotel. Really fun. Sorted toy it’s the last stop for night life in the area so it was nice to go there and just walk over to the hotel right after.

United StatesThe large iguana made my family and i uncomfortable, we couldn't use the pool area! I understand they are the resort pets but they were very scary (size of a human baby) and territorial.
Great resort all around! Love that there's night performance occasionally!

BrazilThe room cleaning service is too late, sometimes it came at 7 pm and other day we had to request and ask for ammenities.
The hotel location is great. It's close to the beach and there is a restaurant area nearby. The beach is close but the hotel offers a transfer daily. The pool is nice and there a fitness center open 24/7.

United StatesI wish the pool and hot tub were open later.
This place is called The Mill but it’s actually run by the Marriott so it was an excellent stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great and walkable to all the main restaurants and shops located in Aruba. You can also walk to the beach even though they do provide shuttle service up till 6 PM.

ArgentinaWe booked a room for 3 persons. One queen bed and 1 sofa. When we arrived the sofa was not done, we called reception and a lady came to help us to open the sofa and she told us: “the bed sheets are there”.. so we had to prepare the sofa by ourselves when supposed to be ready done for us. We requires a gluten free options for breakfast , but we found there aren’t , only bread that some days is available and some days not.
It is a really nice hotel, the pool and the rooms are large comfortable and the location is perfect!

United StatesIt is always windy in Aruba... Hard to wear a nice floppy hat they didn't blow away.... They sell floppy hats that have the tie around the neck, that you would have to use if you want to wear a floppy hat.
This was a last-minute trip so we had limited availability... I went solely by photos of the pool area and the reviews... We were so so happy with this resort... I originally wanted to stay at an all inclusive but was very happy that we didn't. There was such a good feeling vibe at this resort, it was laid-back, but they always had music playing, and I have to say they were the happiest staff ever... pool was very nice... I highly recommend that you get a pool view patio...originally we had a room that we did not like and they changed it and it was a night and day difference... on the Mills side, it was a huge room with a full kitchen, so spacious, nice patio out back and it was so convenient because it wasn't a high-rise... You must get a room that includes the breakfast... We have stayed at some very nice high-end resorts and I must say that their breakfast is up there with the best... Anything you can think of was included in his breakfast buffet... We never had to eat lunch because we were still full from breakfast... During our stay, we did check out all the different resorts and this was located in walking distance to casinos and restaurants and they had a quick shuttle to the beach... I would definitely come back and stay here again.

United StatesWish I had known when I booked that this is a Marriot Courtyard property as I would have used my Bonvoy credit card. Missed out on a lot of points. Only complaint I have is that the pool bar was playing rap music with explicit vulgar and racist lyrics which was blaring over the whole pool area. Not family friendly. Hope you can consider sticking with non-offensive music.
Loved this property because it was small enough to easily go back and forth from the room to the pool and bistro. No waiting for elevators or thousands of guests. The beach buggy shuttle was very convenient and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location; just a couple of blocks to walk to the strip area. Very relaxing vibe and excellent breakfast.

United StatesThere's not much to dislike about the Mill, but if I were to say one thing it is that I wish there were different options at breakfast each morning.
We loved our stay at the Mill Resort. We loved that it was a smaller resort compared to the others nearby. The room was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly, the pool was great and it was easy to find a chair each day. Our favorite part about The Mill was that it was in an excellent location - close to both the beach and the downtown area. We would definitely return.
