Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ColombiaThe staff at the towel hut, only Arturo and a guy from Haiti were friendly. The other people were not helpful, not friendly they seem they don't' like their job or treat people nicely. Paying for a palapa should be less expensive having in mind this service. Twice i found people sitting at my hut when they didn't reserve or pay. There should be signs letting visitors know they have to pay and reserve if they want certain palapa. There should be an option to rent a hut for half a day. So honestly I think you shouldnt have to pay for a hut. The other thing I didn't like like was the noise the room we had. I was at the palm tower and had to change room thinking it was from the restaurant next door. When in the new room, the 24 hour noise continued so it wasn't from outside, it was from the same building, so I guess it might have come from the general air conditioner. So sleep was not good if you're a light sleeper Another suggestion would be to have recycling trash cans specially at the beach,
Breakfast buffet was great a lot of options of eggs, breads, fruit, pastries. Don at the front desk was very helpful. At the cafe-bar, Guido was very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent. beach was awesome. Food at restaurants was good, Sea breeze for lunch is good. Although there should be a lunch buffet at corals. Agave was good. Willy at agave was a great waiter. So was Ramon at davinci. Easy to take a bus to downtown. Cleanliness of room was good. Desserts at this restaurant, at sea breeze and da vinci were great. I traveled with my mom who is 93 and the all inclusive option was a good choice. Pools looked good but I didn't use them.

United StatesWe didn’t enjoy dinner at any of the restaurants(Da Vinci, Sea Breeze, Agave, Pizza Now, Oceanside Bar & Grill: for lunch). The food was horrible at all of them, and the pizza was the worst! Breakfast at Corals Restaurant was great, and lunch at Sea Breeze was fantastic. We also didn’t enjoy the receipt printing at each restaurant. We always choose all inclusive resorts, and this is the first hotel that has printed receipts for dining. Other resorts ask for your room number and carry on.
We enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dessert was excellent. Dinner was horrible!! We enjoyed the kids’ center, the kids’ pool and the location of the hotel was awesome. There’s a laundry room on the Sea Side and it costs $1 to wash and $1 to dry. That’s a big deal for a family of 4!!

United StatesThe hotel looks old and was not remodeled from the 90's at least. Buffet only available for breakfast. Dinning should be at any of the 3 restaurants with previous reserve only. If you have the all-inclusive service but forgot to reserve you will have to discuss/argue to be accepted. No courtesy water in the room, even having the all-inclusive pack. Room fridge was empty. They instruct you to get water from the faucet for the coffe maker and drink. Waiter will not offer/bring drinks on the beach . Umbrellas are all paid from USD18 to $30 a day (even all-inclusive pack). No bar or coffe shop after 1130pm. so you cannot get anything to drink after that.
Beautiful beach and great location. Breakfast was good for a selfservice buffet.

Our stay was WONDERFUL. My daughter and I had the most beautiful experience. Our room was wonderful. The staff were AMAZING. Guido at the Cafe always had my morning coffee ready for me as he saw me walking up to the cafe. The hotel and the staff more than exceeded any expectations we had. Be ready to get spoiled.

United StatesWe had connecting rooms which was a preference, however the AC was broken in the 2nd room. We called down to desk and they did not come up to fix it for a day and a half. The AC was never fixed and instead put a large fan in the room to dry the carpet from the broken AC unit. Room smelled of mildew and damp.
Perfect location for walking everywhere along the beach and restaurants across the street.
