Hotel is overall boring at night time. Practically no entertainment at night time while you can clearly hear music and entertainment coming from the neighboring resorts.

Bathroom door would bang against toilet. We were on the first floor and the shades over the window did not block out the security lighting. We had to hang up clothes over the window to block out the light to darken the room.

Easy access to Beach. Clean and had spa and food options.

Stayed here many times. It’s quiet, clean and with no parties after a certain hour. Helpful staff. Glad they are finally renovating.

When we arrived, they had a happy hour going on at the bar pool. Two days into the vacation. No more happy hour at the poolbar. Happy hour was moved it to a new pizza bar. I was not happy with that because you cannot hang out in the pool and enjoy a refreshing drink. Plus the pizza oven was given off a lot of heat.

I got the eggs Benedict. They were delicious and a side pancake with powdered sugar.😋

We had an a odor of stuffiness and mildew in all 3 room we had booked. We purchased a can of Lysol to spray to clean the air. We also found had a insect in one room which management moved moved us into an upgraded room the next day without question. Our new room had a much better view which we enjoyed the remainder of our vacation.

The location of the property is excellent. Centrally located to get to local hot spots on the island yet far enough from airport not to be disturbed but the planes. The staff is fabulous and friendly.

The fact that the hotel is right on the beach makes it priceless but be careful when you book ( full kitchen does not mean you have oven and dryer in washer is not a laundry room)

We were very unhappy with how the daily Bingo games were run. The two activities staff members spent part of their time looking at their cell phones and talking with two very familiar guests that they sat in back of them. There are 4 games played. The distribution of prize money could have been better planned. The first 3 games have a prize if )10.00 each. The last game is the remaining money. It is usually around $175.-240.00 depending on the day. If two or money people win the pot for that game is shared. I won one of the games along with another guest. We won $5.00 each. We feel that the division of the money collected for the games could have been better thought out. It is great to win the big “pit” but it doesn’t have to be do that the other games win a minimal amount. We were at another Divi resort the week before we arrived at zphoenix. They also had 4 games each day. However each game had a higher winning pot.If you had, for example, $240. To divide between 4 games. Why can’t the first 3 games have a bigger pot( such as 30-40.) The last game would then still have a larger pot of $120. The way the Bingo games were played was the only part of our trip that was unsatisfactory. The staff needs to be more focused on all guests and the distribution on the winning pots of money should be better planned. As a matter of fact at the other Divi resort they gave prizes for the first two games that weren’t monetary. They gave a free breakfast meal or free hamburger meal as a prize. Even that was better than winning 5.00!

Although they say washer/dryer in the room the washer is actually an all in one unit. It is not an actual dryer....it steam dries the clothes which are often still very damp when you take out. With the humidity it took a really long time. They do have some dryers on the property but you need permission to use. That is what we did. When you travel with a family (at least for me) having a dryer would have been helpful in the room.

The beach is great the staff was always amazing. The rooms do needs to some TLC as things may be broken or not working properly.

The tower room needs big time updating. Very old furniture and the bathrooms are way too small. Also the bar area is substandard. The resort needs a nicer bar area for evening enjoyment. The pool bar is not sufficient.

Even though rooms were renovated, the property needs to renovate their entire HVAC system. We saw five rooms and each one had very heavy smells of mold. There was even evidence of black mold. The manager gave us a dehumidifier for the suite and it would fill within a couple of hours, that’s how much moisture was in the rooms. I’m highly allergic to mold and three days into our trip I got very ill with fever, very bad cough. My main concern was contracting Legionnaires disease from the AC unit. Also, for a renovated condo, there were quite a few things broken. The beach was nice except for the seaweed in the water. I’ve been to other Carribean Hotels in which they actually rake the seaweed out of the water and dispose of it. Needless to say, my trip was stressful and not relaxing. I couldn’t wait to come home. I would never go back to a Divi property.

Staff was very friendly and tried hard to accommodate us. Properly was on the beach.

OUR ROOM WAS MUSTY, WET, DISCUSTINGLY OLD, POORLY APPOINTED! I SHOULDN'T LOOK FORWARD TO GOING HOME TO ESCAPE THE DISCOMFORT! STAFF WAS NOT HELPFUL!

Purebeach food was good. We had only one server in all the times there that was personable and made us feel like we were on vacation! His name is Jonathan, server at Purebeach.
