the smell of sewage annoyed my daughter. it seems to depend on the wind direction, and only affected us on one of the days.

The location on Eagle beach superb - perfect for watching the sunset in the hotel’s Horizon’s Lounge bar. The restaurant ‘Passions on the beach’ is directly opposite and offers a spectacular setting for an evening meal, with dining on the beach. The room we booked was spacious and clean, and perfect for a family of 4.

Wished there was a hot tub. Studio room was a little tight (after coming from 1 bedroom at the Divi).

Loved that the beach was right there in front of hotel. Loved the hotel vibe and layout of hotel, the colors, the pool. Room was comfortable.

Wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful. Amazing location directly across the street from Eagle Beach with its own restaurant, bar and beach bar. Pajamas and comfy loungers are free for guests. Delicious food at breakfast and lunch.

The environment is beautiful, but the downside is that the air is bad and you can smell a very bad odor as soon as you get off the car.

A light blanket for the main bed would have been nice. Apparently room service is an option but we didn't realize that until we were almost ready to leave.

The location can't be beat. Eagle Beach is lovely, and having two on-site restaurants means you can easily have a lazy, resort-centered vacation. The apartment (1 br, small kitchen) was spotless and the kitchen well-equipped enough to cook breakfast (which we like when we're feeling cozy). Booking excursions was easy and the staff recommendations were good (snorkel catamaran tour, submarine tour). The property is lovely, well-maintained, and with beautiful flowers/plantings all around. It really did feel like we were staying in paradise.

The lighting in the room needs improving period the bathroom is not bright enough to apply eye makeup, try the mirror and that didn't help much period the mirror in the living area was not useful, again, lighting was poor period had to sit on the balcony. To use the mirror to see clearly. Also the water in the shower fluctuated from being a comfortable temperature to scalding hot intermitmentally.

The bed in the room was extremely comfortable! The food at the restaurant across the street was delicious. The restaurant by the pool was also delicious The beach was gorgeous, so nice and clean. The staff was very, very friendly. The property was very well maintained.

My only complaint would be getting a palapa-many guests go out and claim one at 6am and don’t even use it for most of the day.

THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME STAYING AT THE PROPERTY. THE LOCATION, CLEANINESS AND FRIENDLY STAFF IS WHAT MADE US RETURN. HAVING PASSIONS BEACH BAR ACROSS THE STREET, COMPLEMENTARY LOUNGE CHAIRS, PALAPAS & FLOATS AVAILABLE IS A PLUS. HAPPY HOUR WITH LIVE MUSIC NICE.

I initially reserved 2 bedroom suite for 3 people. Then my daughter wished to have a vacation with us and she stayed in our room. For this, I was charged additional $20 per day, $140 total. While the charge was small, it was unexpected. The room sleeps 5, so the hotel did not provide any additional services. If not for this, I would have called our stay ideal.

It is a great location, very close to the beach and a bus stop. Nice and quiet. The beach is excellent.

The staff could have been more attentive. We never got timely responses to our WhatsApp messages, which often caused frustration. Also, the restaurant associated with the hotel (Passions) is truly sub-par, with wait times far exceeding reasonableness and the food beyond mediocre.

Perfect location, wonderful rooms, and overall great experience! The beach in front of the hospital is great and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable.

I hate to say anything bad because I genuinely loved the resort but we did have one bad experience - The resort offers a great benefit the day you are checking out where you can reserve a room for 30 mins to freshen up before you head to the airport...unfortunately the room we were given was still dirty from the prior guests - dirty towels on the floor, bed unmade, even the money they left for the room service was out on the counter - Im sure it was done in error, but I I was surprised at how much care they took to make our stay amazing, but it didnt extend to our experience when we were leaving....

Everything about our stay was fantastic - the beach. the room, the location - everything - but what stood out the most was the amazing service - Highly recommend!

You need to keep the AC too low to keep the room dry. As soon as the temperature is above 70F the floor gets wet and slippery.

The hotel’s building is a low rise and that makes is more intimate and exclusive. It’s well kept and the personnel at the front desk very nice and helpful.
