Not enough seating by the pool and there is not a grassed area so if you dont get a chair then you have to sit in the brick paving!!!!

A lovely comfortable apartment with the most sensational view including Darwin’s wonderful sunsets. Would stay again but only if there were more lie lows and or chairs by the pool.

Perhaps the outside furniture could be upgraded. One chair was in slight disrepair.

The location is perfect. Bustle of Mitchell St out one door and park and ocean out the other. Everything we wanted to do and see was within walking distance or easily reached by public transport. View has to be one of the best in Darwin. Comfortable bed and great kitchen facilities.

Unit's facilities were dated, especially the bathroom and specifically the shower. Also, the Wi-Fi code was not in the room on check in. had to call managers for the code

No parking. No staff on hand in the building. Pickup keys from different location annoying and staff in the building where the unit is located very unhelpful in allowing entry after hours to facilitate key retrieval (which was quite difficult at 1am negotiating drunk bar crowd next door to the youth hostel where lockbox located which was also closed and guy on desk inside hesitant to open up for us). No weekly service…11 days with no change of linen or towels (1 each for entire stay). Had washing machine and dryer in unit so did laundry ourselves for clean towels and sheets.

Great location. Amazing views. Clean and comfortable. City paid parking across the street as none available in the building…only available for Mantra guests but plenty of spaces after hours (mostly full during business hours on weekdays). Shared swimming pool for all staying at this location (Zen, Mantra and Esplanade Apartments). Close to supermarkets, coffee shops snd restaurants.

The location of the lockbox was not in the same building as the apartment; had to ask Mantra reception to watch my luggage as I searched for the other building/lockbox and key. Because I arrived after dark, it was quite confusing and frustrating.

The apartment’s view and balcony were amazing! Bed was very comfy and aircon was perfect on the hot and humid days. Loved that there was a fully washer and dryer too. Would definitely book this place again.

The TV needs updating...surely a wifi enabled TV could be invested here. Power sockets next to the bed would be great. The nearest socket was on the wall next to the small entrance to the bathroom. Overall the suite could do with a bit of modernisation.

It is tired,and the cleaning is not up to scratch, had a leaking tap for the whole 14 days,. There was no room servicing and for the money you would think that they wood at least do it weekly.. I think it is actually an Airbnb but managed by Zen. They need to talk to the owners and get them to put some of my money towards a full refurb.

The position on The Esplanade was terrific, but the building is soulless, I don’t know whats going on but it seems to have multiple operators
