Apartment could get way too cold. Would have been handy to have some spare blankets in the rooms as it was too cold to sleep sometimes

The only complaint is that our room was quite close to the lift and the lift was very noisy especially when people were leaving early in the mornings.

Loved the location! The hotel facilities were great, we had everything we needed. We will be back! The kids loved the pool and thought it was fun to have the pool noodles to play with

I have stayed in the hotel part of the building and the Internet was great. But hardly worked in this apartment - it didn't spoil our stay at all, as our phone "hotspot" worked well.

The apartment complex was lovely, and the apartment great - had everything you wanted, including a nice balcony looking out to the sea. The swimming pool was also very pleasant.

The kitchenette in the one-bedroom is small and limited but we were brought additional kitchenware at our request. It took us a couple of days to find the way to adjust the air-conditioner temperature to our liking. Actual temperature control would be helpful. The WiFi was unreliable for communication with family and friends so we bought our own. There is no parking included. We rented one parking stall from the Mantra hotel but the fob giving us access to the parkade didn’t always work. A nightmare as the entrance to the parkade is on a steep incline! Overall, the company running the apartments was very responsive and acted within hours to our requests.. Their staff was very good. Adjoining apartments made it quite comfortable for a longer stay. We stayed for two weeks in late October after the tourist season.

Great location. All services and dozens of ethnic restaurants within 5 blocks. Nice swimming pool. Great view of the park and the sea from the 4th floor, above the palm trees. The apartments are very clean and roomy but feel austere with very little decoration.

Only issue we had was the shower is over the bath. Not the safest for climbing in and especially out. Grab rails in more pertinent locations would be helpful.

The location was excellent! Particularly because our apartment was on the ocean side. We met people whose apartment was on the city side and it was very very noisy. Ours in comparison was very quiet with a gorgeous view.

Would have liked a complementary room cleaning/linen change mid-way through our 10 night stay. Aircon in whole building was freezing!

Location was excellent, on the quieter side of the building but very close to the main street. Pleasant outlook over parkland to the sea, and nice little balcony from which to watch the sunset. Lovely!

It's just a bit of a nuisance to have only enough cutlery, cups and glassware for each person. 4 knives, 4 forks, 4 spoons, 4 plates, etc, etc is a pain to deal with because we were forever having to wash dishes or put the dishwasher through the 30 minute cycle and then having to dry them anyway. Other than that we have no complaints.

Location was excellent, nice roomy apartment and the balcony view was quite wonderful. We had a couple of minor problems whilst we were there but the owner fixed them immediately and when we requested a linen change it was done without a fuss.

Bathroom was a little tired but perfectly comfortable. Outdoor chairs need replacing. Pool is great but again a bit tired looking. I didn't like having to collect the key after arriving very late at night from the backpackers nearby. Would be much better if available from foyer within Mantra.

Great location, walking distance to everything we needed - supermarket, restaurants, cafes. Great walking track through parkland across the road with views to the ocean. Stunning sunsets from the balcony. Very spacious rooms - perfect for our family of four. Beds were very comfortable. Small kitchen was well equipped but only a cooktop & microwave which was fine for us (some may prefer an oven). Pool was lovely to have & got plenty of use. Nice being surrounded by palm trees. Communication with owner was excellent. Would recommend to friends.

This is actually 2 un-serviced separate apartments (not a 2 bedroom apartment) - and access by 2 separate keyed doors, thereby the sparce living space is small in the main unit - with the one small balcony only accommodating 2 people. Bathroom is tired and desperately requires re-grouting. I would suggest an investment in some quality Latex pillows (pillows were pancakes) - did not see a coffee machine as advertised - (basic coffee/sugar slides with a couple of milk pods in the fridge), toiletries on offer - (just shampoo & conditioner) - ran out of linen over the 5 days, (you were not allowed to wash the linen provided) - no late checkout on offer - and under threat of a fine - had to carry out the garbage from the bins - really expected a little more luxury for the $1793 paid for 5 days - which is was at the top end of accommodation prices (in same area when booked) - so a letdown.

The location was good - walking distance to Mitchell Street - and view was lovely. However being a front unit - lots of screaming at night heard (from the street below)- and 6.00am Garbage/delivery trucks servicing the streets.

Inconvenience of needing to collect our keys from another location/ building luckily it was just around the corner -kitchen not equipped well enough even for very little that we t tried to do -no room service even for our 11 night stay

Kitchen, was useless, smoke alarm in the area. Couldn't cook anything as smoke alarm would go off. Someone else set theirs off and building was evacuated. Very poor design, not being able to prepare your own meals. Advertised as apartment but kitchen was very poor.
