Room, furnishings and surrounds were a bit tired but not complaining when considering the value.

This is well run accomodation and excellent value for money. Breakfast, although self serve, was more than adequate for the price. Access to a communal kitchen was a bonus. The room had everything we needed and was not cramped considering what it had fitted into it.

It’s quite hard to find the entrance in the dark as this is no light. Facilities are a bit outdated and not clean enough. There are noises from some equipments during night. So didn’t quite rest well.

Close to ferry. No need to drive far if you arrive late. Has a kitchen (shared) that you can prepare meal. Light breakfast is provided with bread, cereal, yogurt and juice.

Availability of a kitchen to make an evening meal. There was nowhere to eat out without driving which was dangerous at night because of the wildlife. It could be made clearer before arrival that this is available.

this is not a 'dislike' but visitors should know there is ocean/waterfront close by where swimming is possible but there is not much of a sandy beach. (beaches a few kilometres away including "Island Beach" are broad and lovely, with the warmest water we found in southern Oz). there is also extreme dryness - a drought - underway that encourages everyone including visitors to be mindful.

the location on "K-eye" was good for accessibility by vehicle or bicycle though there are few services in baudin beach. the owner/hostess was exceptionally friendly and offered good suggestions for where to go on KI. location also very quiet; almost no highway noise.

Located 10min away driving from Penneshaw, it's a cozy facility with possibility to park the car just outside. The room is well furnished and the heater in the bathroom simply perfect. Very good WiFi connection and selection offered for breakfast.

I had a very comfortable stay at The Fig Tree B&B. The room was large and the breakfast provided in the room was really good with lots of options. The location was really convenient for me, being only 10-15min drive from the ferry terminal. I'd recommend staying here!

I found the bed somewhat lumpy and uncomfortable but a decent mattress topper would overcome this. My room was a little on the dark side but I prefer this for sleeping and it wasn't really an issue.

The owner took care to ensure the facilities were kept clean. There was a separate kitchen area (shared) where you could cook meals when and if you so desired. There was a large frig in the kitchen for those wishing to keep food there. An excellent IGA supermarket was only 5 minutes away in Penneshaw. The callistemons and other flowers at the front of the property attracted quite a number of birds and it was a pleasure to sit out on the front patio and watch them.

Very convenient to the ferry and we stayed here 2 nights. The first night because we came in on a late ferry, and the last night because we left on the early ferry. The breakfast provided was easy and very convenient for us.

Shower - was hard to adjust the water temperature. It was either hot or cold. From the photos we thought there was a sofa bed.

Breakfast was very generous & use of the kitchen was a great bonus. Heater worked well so we were very cosy.
