Loved everything about this hotel! The staff are incredible. They are so friendly and make you feel at home. The pool is fantastic and could always get a lounge chair to lie on at any time of day. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had and the lunch and dinner is also the best in Palm Cove. The signature inclusions were also a fantastic touch including the sunrise yoga (which is between the palms!), the sorbet by the pool and the canapes and punch at 5pm. They think of everything!!

United KingdomThe food was average and in some cases poor, it was over priced for what it was. It was also a bit scruffy, claims to be the second best luxury hotel in Australia but large stains on the carpet when you go in doesn't set a great first impression, also the bedroom didn't feel particulary clean.
Great added extras, e.g. cocktail making, wine tasting and wonderful staff who genuinely wanted you to get the best from your stay. Lovely view from the beach facing room.

AustraliaI was quite disappointed to arrive and not have our bags taken to the room. In fact, staff watched my partner make three trips without an offer of a porter. I understand this to be very unusual and all across the week, this small thing was more than rectified.
I loved Cedric and Michelle, no request was too much and all requests were met with a genuine desire to create a perfect experience. I loved that the wait staff were willing to learn how to make my daughters coffee, despite it being a little obscure. I also really enjoyed that The Reef House is adults only, the location is perfect.

United StatesAt least one other meal to be included for what the cost of the stay was. My shower stall door was a bit outdated, but I'm really reaching to think of something I didn't like, as this stay was great.
the breakfast was delicious, I enjoyed the granola bowl every morning. The location was great, across from the ocean and the sunday market was a bonus. The pools were beautiful and never over crowded. The laundry room was easy to use and the staff were extremely helpful, polite, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

The staff were approachable, helpful and friendly. Complimentary sorbet around the pool , punch and canopies in the bar daily were such an unexpected surprise as were the chocolates and bubbles on arrival. Our holiday was the highlight of the last couple of years. We escaped unseasonal cold, rainy Sydney for 33 degree days and sunshine. We are definitely rebooking !

Breakfast adequate but fruit not ripe and therefore inedible . Insufficient staff so a second coffee not possible and left and went to a cafe nearby.

AustraliaIncluded in the relatively high daily tariff are a series of special inclusions like wine tasting and cocktail making - that’s if you can book into one. despite seeking to book into both classes on our arrival for a 7 night stay we were told no places were available! Even though we asked to go on the waiting list we were never during our stay of a vacancy - it was only when we complained to a fellow guest at the pool one day who was going to a cocktail class that afternoon that we managed to ‘jag’ access to the cocktail making class because they told the bar tender running the course about our situation. We stayed in a beachfront apartment where the floor wasn’t cleaned for our entire stay, where the spa towels were never replaced and where the shower leaked all over the floor such that you could not use the toilet until it drained away.
The Reef House is in a fabulous location on Palm Beach and our stay included some lovely extras like afternoon canapés and free bike hire
