The cabins were very comfortable and spacious with a good size kitchen. Cabins felt private and hotel facilities were great. The food at the restaurant was enjoyable and loved being immersed in the wildlife - plenty of birds and rabbits.

Lounge could do with an update, gas heater didn’t work as well as it should, access to using apps like google home would be a great addition and a crisper in the fridge would be great too. Also adding electric blankets would be great too

Love the eco units everything you need always a comfortable stay

The only fault would be the pizzas could be a bit better from the restaurant.

I like the location, close to the town centre. The facilities are fantastic tooThe way the cabins are setup means its private and feels secluded. I would be back again as a solo traveller and with the family

We had to pay for the karts. I thought it was included.

The house is wonderful which is fully equiped. The heater was working excellently. The resort was surrounded by green and animals. I was woken up by birds in the morning.

We encountered a rat in the room that ate one of our instant noodles, which was concerning. Additionally, while the living room had a heater, the sleeping room did not, which made it a bit uncomfortable during colder nights. Overall, it was a welcoming stay with some issues that could be improved.

The hotel is well-equipped with all the cooking essentials, generally clean, and up to standard, making us feel welcomed during our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the presence of wild animals around the premises added a unique touch to the experience.

Our resort stay was comfortable with excellent amenities, but marred by pushy timeshare sales pitch.

    • Studio Villa with Jetted Tub

While the bed was generally nice, its "floaty" nature meant that one person's movement significantly disturbed the other, making it feel like being "out on the waves on a small life raft." The split system air conditioner's fan was too noisy to run at night, and the standalone heater provided simply displayed an error when turned on. Coupled with the absence of electric blankets, mornings were quite chilly. Although generally quiet, there was some noisy wildlife activity in the middle of the night. The most significant negative was the Club Wyndham sales process. What began as an offer for a free lunch and a $100 Woolworths voucher turned into a high-pressure timeshare sales pitch. While the free lunch was pleasant, the sales presentation felt inescapable unless we committed to a purchase. This experience has made us hesitant to return to any Wyndham resort in the future, as we prefer to avoid such pushy sales tactics while on holiday.

Our four-night stay at the Ramada Resort by Wyndham Phillip Island offered a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the area. The studio accommodation was perfectly sized and cosy for two. We appreciated its prime location, being very close to the Penguin Parade and even closer to Cowes township, yet far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. The resort itself was clean and well-maintained, offering all the amenities one could want, even if some, like the pools, were less utilised during the off-season. A standout feature was the excellent internet service, providing a fast and strong signal via a dedicated Wi-Fi point in our cabin. The kitchen was well-equipped with hotplates, a microwave, a dishwasher, and an oven, which was very handy. We also found the electric car charging options to be a significant plus, with the convenience of slow charging at our cabin and faster, free on-site chargers just a short walk away that were not busy. When we encountered a hot water issue, the staff were quick to resolve it, which was reassuring. The spa bath in the room was delightful, offering instant hot water, ensuring no worries about running out. We enjoyed being surrounded by the local wildlife during the day.

Bathroom door was a little jammed. But shouldn’t allow kids in the sauna, and was super loud being next to the pool and spa where the kids took over screaming and running around. So much pool water in it. Kids also took over the spa so we didn’t get a chance to use it.

Sauna was great. Restaurant was great. Good price. Little pod thing was super lovely with greenery and a back verandah. Felt private and was lovely and quiet during day and night. Good heating too and nice spa bath. Loved having a kitchenette too.

The room was alittle run down, lots of marks and scuff on the walls, you are quickly notice that this is the “budget” rooms. (They are still very nice and clean.) Also the bedroom got freezing at night time as the heating does not reach these areas.

Good sized rooms for the family, Enough setting for everyone.

The villa is a bit old. There’s no heating in the room and the blankets are thin. It was v cold at night. I had to put on extra jumper to be able to sleep. It would be good if the colour of the lighting can be changed to warm yellow, but not white as it gives it like a hospital vibe instead of a warm holiday house.

Lots of facilities in the hotel. We had a fun stay! Location is good for us to see penguins! Everything is clean, including glasses and plates in the kitchen. The washing machine and dryer were great! However it wasn’t advertised in the booking page. But it was a nice surprise! Staff are friendly!

The kitchen could be better equipped, e.g. there wasn’t any microwave containers provided, no serving crockery such as a salad bowl, only 2 small stainless steel mixing bowls, etc. The location of the actual microwave was, in my opinion, quite dangerous.

Great location - close to the town of Cowes. The facilities at the resort catered for all age groups. Surrounded by nature.

Cleaning was quite poor. But because we only stayed for 1 night did not bother to mention it to staff. Lights in villa are only bright white. 😎

Location is nice for visiting the nobbies and penguin parade. View from villa was nice too.

The only thing was the floors were wet in the hallway, ladies showers , making it extremely slippery and as it was a cold day they didn’t look like drying at all. My grandson went flying . Also after a swim and then getting changed in the ladies change room/showers there were no benches to sit on or put your clothes and shoes down. Made it extremely hard to get all of us changed without our clothes and towels getting wet on the already wet floor. Hooks and benches please! And non slip matting too

Cabin (3 bedrooms) was fantastic. Very spacious and comfortable. My daughter & I both agreed that the beds were firm, and at first were concerned but then slept like logs! Bathroom spotless, sparkling! Thankyou to housekeeping. LOVED the cafe coffee . Perfect and ended up having two
