AustraliaThe apartment was not clean - the bed was very uncomfortable - the apartment was not well stocked for a week long stay - there was no controls for the a/c units I.e they were either on or off - unused tv unit left inside the wardrobe in the bedroom took up a lot of room, couldn’t understand why it was in there. No one instruction for appliances. Not all lights operated.
Surroundings and facilities within the complex were good. Location at palm cove was terrific.

AustraliaQuality of sleep is very important to me. We had a 2bdr apartment (no.45). The bed in the main bedroom was like sleeping on concrete with metal springs in it. I had to move into a single bed in the same room as my son which is not how I would like to spend my holiday. My husband grabbed a cushion from the daybed to put on top of the hard mattress and didn't sleep well for 4 nights. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and reception was closed until Monday. The room instructions stated that a $75 fee would be incurred if we had to call them out after hours so we had to make do. I think this is a bit unfair if there is an issue with a room making guests either wait up to 2 nights or pay an extra fee to have issues rectified. When I called on Monday the staff were helpful and said they hadn't had this apartment under their managemet for very long and offered to put a mattress topper on - which arrived Tuesday, So they tried.... Unfortunately the topper didn't make much difference at all. The mattress really needs to be replaced. Overall the room was nice, but there are a few maintenance items that need to be addressed to make it better.
The property is in a great location, an easy walk down to the Palm Cove esplanade. There are 3 pools, one is over 50m in length which is great for lap swimming (but they are all a bit cold - no heating). The lush tropical gardens are really well cared for. The room itself is spacious and very clean. The hosts were responsive. We had no wifi in the room and they helped with a dongle until NBN serviceman arrived.

AustraliaThe apartment didn't quite hit the mark for our family of 5. I didn't like that there was nowhere to hang the washing except run the dryer flat out. I feel like for a long 2 week stay we should have been given a little more than 2 washing sachets. The dishwasher functions are all rubbed off so we didn't know how to work it until we received a response later in time. There is no storage or shelving for food items. The bath plug didn't seal properly, and the towel rack in the kids room was broken - not a big deal but still a nuisance. There's a DVD player but no movies. I think for families a few extra details could go a long way. The bed was ok but it was two mattresses pushed together which I dislike as it's uncomfortable if you're in the middle. The blankets were also not the freshest smelling, thankfully we didn't need them. The extra bed which is a sofa bed was awkwardly placed at the back doorway which was really drafty overnight for my little one as the leuvers don't totally shut. Probably also worth mentioning to other travelers that the bar rarely opens at the complex ( quite misleading when you look at the website).
The resort is immaculate. The manager at the resort was very friendly and welcoming. The location is great - just a short walk to the esplanade. The pools were a huge hit despite being cold!
