A few too many unnecessary rules that one would hope would be common sense and didn’t need to be said/written.

The layout was warm and inviting. I loved the private space of the room and the shared areas with fireplaces and comfy and cosy couches.

I could not express how lovely and thoughtful this whole experience was from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Chris is the best host we have ever had, his meticulous attention to detail, warm and attentive nature made our stay truely memorable. This luxury stay is the perfect place to switch off and have a rest from the everyday. The heritage house is full of character and has a whimsical old charm. The breakfast is delicious, everything you need is available nothing is left spare. I would highly recommend this place for all ages and will definitely be returning!!

Kubba Roonga is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. A gorgeous heritage building with charming hosts who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The house itself is a treat as are the wonderful gardens. Located in beautiful Blackheath, just close enough to the main restaurants and shops to be convenient but also in a quiet leafy street close to bushwalks. A full continental breakfast is provided as well as nice little extras like a glass of port to have by the fire and chocalates in the room. Oh and don't miss the delicious scones and tea. The beds are super comfy and the spa bath is beautifl. We hope to visit again very soon

We both really enjoyed our stay at Kubba Roonga Guesthouse- the guesthouse is a heritage building that was built in 1915 and it has a lot of lovely vintage furniture which makes you feel like you have been transported back in time. My husband and I haven't stayed in a guesthouse before- so this was a really lovely experience for us! You receive lovely and helpful service and we especially liked the communal sitting area. We also had one on of the spa rooms- which was very luxurious and we enjoyed the spa bath every night. The location is also really good as it's walking distance to Blackheath town centre- which has lots of lovely restaurants and cafes I would recommend Thai Silk and Altitude Deli. Chris (the host) was also very accommodating with breakfast and provided me with extra gluten free options (as I am coeliac). The Wifi works but it's not particularly strong and I actually found it was nice and good for my mental health to have a break from social media!!

My partner and I had a great stay here. Chris makes you feel very welcome and encourages you to enjoy all areas for this beautiful home. Beds were super comfy and rooms very clean. The guesthouse has lots of charm and the gardens are beautiful. A short walk to the village, but far enough away to feel you are million miles away. Chris is a great host who wants you to enjoy your stay and time in the Blue Mountains. Highly recommend staying here.

We were after a combination of a relaxing stay and an opportunity to explore the gorgeous nature of the Blue Mountains - and that is exactly what we got. The Kubba Roonga Guest House was cozy, welcoming and full of bush walks nearby. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were looked after - we appreciated the local tips for near by walks and eateries. We especially enjoyed the cosy facilities and nice details in our room including welcome chocolates and spa bath. The breakfast was lovely and well laid out. We felt very at home and welcome.

Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! Our stay at Kubba Roonga in Blackheath, NSW, was simply outstanding. Chris and his partner excel at preserving the beauty of this heritage home. Their hospitality surpassed all expectations, and Chris's knowledge of the Blue Mountains area is unmatched. The Victorian-era charm of the house is impeccably maintained. While some reviews mention the rules set by Chris and his partner, we found them reasonable and necessary given the property's vintage. It's important to remember that you're sharing a home, not just staying in a generic motel. My partner and I felt entirely comfortable throughout our stay and will definitely return for a longer weekend getaway. Five stars hardly do justice to our exceptional experience.
