Quilts were too small for bed

The dinner at night was disappointing - I asked waiter if calamari was fresh and was told it was but it was out of a frozen box / not nice

Pool very average

Breakfast cooked poor, had to go through the restaurant to get to the pool and everyone eating could watch you swim. Messed up our booking on first night, but then sorted it out without too much bother, staff were good

Nothing in the mini-bar apart from 4 small milks! My partner was bitten by mosquitoes/bed bugs ...very unhappy in the morning! Flock wall paper! So 1980s

Was fairly expensive but this seems to be the case everywhere in Darwin.

Lovely hotel on the esplanade. We had a fabulous ocean view. Staff were very pleasant and so helpful.

A bottle of water supplied every day not just on arrival day.

A young woman named Mairead provided exceptional service, she was so helpful with our enquiries went above and beyond to help us with our queries. It was a day later I realised that she was a trainee, she will obviously make a fantastic employee for you make sure you look after her!

The hotel finance department keep taking hundreds of dollars out of my bank account daily without my permission. We had fully paid for the accomodation before we arrived. It just added stress to our holiday. Lucky I receive notifications when money is deducted otherwise I might not have noticed.

Tried to contact Reception by phone twice in the evening unsuccessfully. Expensive but as it was peak season accommodation in Darwin was in short supply.

Staff were courteous, hotel was tidy. Room was in good condition.

No clean cups in the room each day for tea / coffee drinking - plus not enough milk supplied in the fridge, so brought some up each day from the dining room after breakfast.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, bed were comfortable, toiletries were of fine quality, and linen supply was adequate. Breakfast was plentiful with good selection of fresh foods provided. Restaurant opening times were good.

We heard a lot of doors slamming during the night and early morning. Not sure if it was guest rooms or the Fire door which was located next to our room No: 307. The towels were threadbare.

One towel hook for two guests. there was a towel rail but it was in the shower recess,where they were likely to get wet. One lounge chair for two guests. Not evceryone likes to sit on the bed to watch tv or a movie. Water pressure left a lot to be desired when trying to wash hair.

the room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. there was a cofy lounge type chair, a second one would have been nice seeing as there were two guests, and the view was amazing.

This would be the only hotel I’ve ever turned up to prior to the official check in time and the staff member on reception was not interested in checking to see if my room happened to be ready. There were no other guests around, she just said I could leave my bags and gave me a luggage tag to put on them and then showed me to the room where I could put my bags.
