You have to make sure to bring a car. Using uber to get from the hotel to cairns was annoying and costly.

Absolutely beautiful and romantic. The view is amazing, the bath is huge, the atmosphere is very romantic. There is even a sauna which is very relaxing.

Very quiet, secluded hideaway in the trees. Slept so deeply! Would have used all the facilities more if weather had been warmer - sauna and pool very inviting. We liked being out of town a bit … need your own transport to stay here.

A unique, stunning, romantic, quiet and relaxing location. Owner Antje was lovely and made you feel at home. As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed. There are only two separate rooms/buildings and they have stunning private 180 deg views into the rainforest sitting up high in the rain forest. This place is a hidden gem. I don't want to say too much more as i fear the more people who know how good this place is the harder it will be for us to rebook this place in the future.

Incredibly beautiful and peaceful location. Super friendly hosts. Beautifully decorated and we were made to feel right at home. Everything we could think of and more was provided. We even loved the resident curlews :)

We loved the beautiful and comfortable room and the outdoor/indoor kitchen and pool area. Our host was helpful and friendly. We only saw her on arrival but knew she was available if needed. Waking up surrounded by rainforest is an experience I will never forget.

The most accommodating hosts - we were in dire straights on our final days, and the lovely owners washed and dried our undergarments...honestly amazing!!

There was an issue with the tap in my room over the bathroom sink in which it was loose and hard to switch on and off. This is not an issue for future customers as the owners were pulling out the whole sink and fixtures and putting new ones in after we left that day.

I loved the rainforest setting of the property. I am a Buddhist who meditates, so turning the lights off at night and meditating to the sounds of the wildlife around me was surreal. Access to the pool, BBQ and sauna was part of the deal. The property owners were a really nice, hospitable couple in Antje and Ben for whom nothing was too much for and were really helpful in getting me and my friend settled in after a three and a half hour flight from Sydney.

It wasn't a big problem for us, but worth being aware there are no curtains, so the bedroom is open to the rainforest on two glass sides. You're not in view of any other properties, but a little disconcerting at first. The tap in the room was a bit temperamental to manage the pressure of, and had created some damp in the cupboard underneath.

Beautiful little cabin right on the edge of the rainforest, but still within a short drive of the centre of cairns. Incredible to wake up to the sight and sound of the rainforest. Well equipped with a bbq and a pool between the two cabins. Antje and her family were super friendly hosts, thank you very much Antje!

WOW!! This exceeded our expectations. An absolute gem hidden away in the suburbs. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. The bungalow has a spa bath and spectacular views of the rainforest. The sauna and infinity pool were definitely a highlight! We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful, quiet, stunningly appointed and designed place. Just two cabins apart from the main house, with an infinity pool looking out onto the neighbouring forest with a little sauna too. Loved showering surrounded by views of the foliage outside the window. Only met the hosts briefly but they were very friendly, and late check in was very straightforward. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a few days immersed in tropical plant and bird life (while still being close enough to the other beautiful attractions of Cairns and surrounds). I would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful, secluded place to relax. It was a unique experience and I’m so glad we booked it, it was definitely worth it. The owners are very nice, the views into the Forrest are great, and the room is lovely.

Few bugs around but it’s a given as we’re in the rainforest!! But also the key code to the door was a bit fiddly and sometimes took me 5 minutes to get in haha - also please be mindful the driveway is VERY steep, so if you have a low car, best to park out the front

It is an absolutely unique place at the edge of the rainforest. Something you just should experience. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. In the evenings we used the pool surrounded by the sound of the rainforest - something really magical.
