We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Australia1. All of the correspondence and information on Booking. Com site and all of the Commnication about the hotel and the booking all referred to the hotel as Beachfront Moolalaba Apartment and "Shakell Property". This was very confusing when the name of the Hotel itself is "Landmark Hotel. We actually had to go to the reception desk and ask them if the address was the same. They had not heard of Shakell and told us that perhaps this was the name of the Private Owners of one of the rooms in the Landmark Hotel. This was very confusing. 2. Would have liked the key pickup instructions earlier so as not to cause anxiety, Also the location of the keys pickup spot were horrible for parking and getting them, Perhaps some information about the carpark in the nearby street with some instructions on where to stop/park instead of us driving around the block trying to find somewhere to stop or park (not being locals or aware of where the actual shop was) The first hour in the carpark is free so that would have been would been great to know. 3. Also, earlier instructions on where to access the carpark to the Hotel would have been good earlier. This sort of ties in with issue 1 where the name of the Hotel on out booking and comms all referred to Beachfront Moolalaba Apartment and "Shakell Property" and did not mention Landmark Hotel which is what the hotel is signed as.
The actual Room and location were great. very comfortable and very nice facilities.
