At 12pm at night a bunch of screaming girls decided to all jump into the pool which woke us up. The sound of screaming Curlews scared us at first.... until we realised what they were. Georgous birds though.

The apartment was larger than expected with direct access to the large lovely pool. Wish the weather was warmer so we could swim in it (August too cold). Had a wine at the bar with friendly people. Was a lovely one night stay and great value for money. We drove to the beach and found car park there with no problems but if we had more time on hand we probably could have walked. Breakfast at Nunu"s, dinner at Il Fornio and cocktails at Sneaky Mick's was just lovely. The palm tree tunnel at other end of beach were georgous. Would stay again as very comfortable stay.

The floor on the shower over bath was very slippery. Perhaps an extra bathmat or non-slip mat should be available for use so when standing in the shower, you are less likely to slip.

There was no tea, coffee, milk on arrival so I had to find a convenience store. I would have brought them first if I had known. The fans need a clean. No coathangers or place to hang dresses.

Despite the hosts implementing additional wifi, its still very slow and frequently drops out making streaming a little annoying, but general scrolling was fine.

The atmosphere at Mango Lagoon is fantastic. Even at the busiest time of year the place is tranquil with 4 pools to divide the population up nicely to ensure there is plenty of space for all. The room itself is super spacious with everything you could need in a kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature in the room was always perfect despite the peak of summer heat. Extra bonus is the laundry facilities enabling you to keep everything fresh. Apartment is on the ground floor with direct access to the pool from the back door.

I had some difficulties getting out of the bath. A rail to hang on to when getting out of the tub would be useful.

Unfortunately, the bed was broken so only one person could sleep in it. If it wasn't for this would have given full stars. We reported this to the host at the end of our stay so hopefully it has been repaired/replaced now.

Loved this apartment! Communication was fabulous beforehand, around check in and during the stay. The place is super well equipped, really tidy, plenty of space, kitchenware, etc. Very comfortable overall. The shared outdoor facilities were wonderful too. Location was an easy walk to beach/main strip.

Parking was a fair way from the room, it was a long hike with all of our luggage.

This place was amazing! A huge apartment, with comfortable beds, full kitchen, laundry, and lots of other comforts. Private verandah with opening to the pool. We loved it, we wished we could have stayed longer.

The layout in the apartment was not suitable as the dining table was too far from the kitchen and the TV not visible from it. Also the toilet does not have a door and that was annoying. There is a door to the bathroom that can be closed so you are not visible from the lounge room but that is still not entirely satisfactory.

The location was good in that it is only a short walk to the esplanade and therefore not searching for a parking space. The apartment had all the facilities needed and was a spacious. The grounds were kept well maintained and the pool was excellent.
