    - This hotel succesfully marries alpine charm with luxurious modern amenities in a quiet village in the Tyrollean Lechtal. - The breakfast buffet was just excellent. There are so many options to choose from, and there is a cook in the show kitchen who can prepare all kinds of egg dishes live for you. - Dinner was also great and well worth the money, with carvonivore, pescatarian and vegetarian options. The salad buffet also has many options. Their pastry chef is a magician, and they have many different (local) cheeses to try at the buffet. - The staff are very attentive and kind. - The modern sauna and pool areas are very inviting, clean and well-maintained.

    These were only a few minor inconveniences: - The small fitness room was clean and equipped with modern machines, but the fitness mats were cheap (maybe they had better ones that were stolen?) so I just stuck to using the treadmill. - Our room in the older section of the hotel did not have airconditioning, so it became quite hot during the day. On the other hand, since our room faced the mountain, we could sleep with our windows open. - The flue of the strong suction hood of the large grill in the show kitchen goes up through the walls of a few rooms (including our room) in the older section. I was a bit shocked when the furniture of our room suddenly started vibrating lightly. Thankfully, the grill only gets turned a few hours in the evening and only during grill nights, as the staff kindly told me.

    Very nice hotel! Some rooms were already beautifully renovated, others still had the authentic mountain hotel style. We had two rooms, one in each style but both were very good. The wellness and fitness were good and well-equipped. The food in the hotel is fantastic! If you love good food this hotel is a good place to be. Wi-Fi -> great; Location -> Steeg is an easy, slow town but beautifully located;

    One very minor remark, and if we need to make one, during the skiing season, there is a bus that takes you to and from the hotel, it rides twice in the morning and once in the evening... However it does happen that the bus is full and if so you will need to take the ski bus -> which, to be honest, is pretty easy and stops right in front of the hotel!
