Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe breakfast was meagre, there was very little choice and most of what was available was very basic
The hotel is well situated smack in the old town. We arrived late, in the rain and left early the next morning, so we didn't get a chance to do the hotel justice

United KingdomCan get a bit noisy on evening from bar/street but we needed balcony door and window open because of the Summer heat. Perhaps availability of small fan in room for hot day/nights in Summer could be a thought but only a suggestion
Very good communication with hotel, great location, staff friendly and very helpful, clean and comfortable, beds and bathroom great for us. Obviously our visit was in the Summer so great for being less busy and customer service still excellent. We enjoyed chilling on balcony in morning. Overall we hopefully will return next Spring/Summer

AustraliaEastern European staff were a little prickly to begin with but warmed up after a while. Room was hot, but seems like an issue with the whole building.
Breakfast was decent, great reception and helpful staff, bar excellent and our Greek legends behind the bar. 2 saunas and relaxation area extremely handy!

CanadaEven better if a bit more food variety in the morning for people with longer stays. Lounge for non-skiers would be a nice option (or arrangement with neighbouring property).
Hosts and staff were super friendly and helpful. Excellent service atmosphere. On-site breakfast was well stocked and run. Location is perfect in the pedestrian zone. Great access from train station with all our ski gear. Very walkable. Right beside bars and solid windows blocked the sound very well. Sauna room was great. Arrangement to leave skis near Galzig lift was a nice surprise. Luggage storage room was very appreciated on final ski day. Good wifi.

DenmarkFirst of all, I booked a double room for couples but at arrival the host looked up my name (Arabic) and then gave us a small dark room with two separate single beds facing in yard with a tiny bathroom (much cheaper room) which I didn’t book. My Caucasian boyfriend went then to the host who was sitting in the hotel’s restaurant chatting with the rest of the hotel staff. He friendly asked if there has been a mistake since the room that she gave us looked nothing like what we payed for or like the pictures. The host then moved us to the double room that we originally booked. From that moment on multiple occasions had us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. For example, we went to the hotel’s restaurant for dinner. After ordering a glass of wine the taller waitress who served us (bleached hair, tattooed eyebrows, end 30s-40s) came back with an almost empty glass. When we looked around, we noticed that the other guests had full glasses of wine. The waitress had also a rude and dismissive attitude and was joking at the bar with the hotel’s restaurant owner. It should be mentioned all of these staff members were hanging out together earlier when my boyfriend kindly asked to change the room to what we have booked. The food gave us on top of that bad stomachs. Yet we stayed respectful and tipped the waitress who bluntly asked for a tip. At departure on the next morning (early check out at 10) the same waitress saw us leaving and chose to fully ignore our presence. This whole experience left us feeling racially discriminated on my behalf and uncomfortable as a whole. Furthermore, the bathroom wasn’t clean as I found hair on the sink and brown spots on the toilet seat.
The location of the hotel was central.

DenmarkThere were a room for ski equipment, but it was not possible to get your boots heated. Breakfast was ok but not more.
The area was ok and so was the distance to the skilifts. Friendly personal. Remember to reserve tables for breakfast if you arrive in the morning. If we haven’t had a documentation on an email we should have found a place for breakfast elsewhere.

AustraliaRooms on the first floor get vibration and doof doof sound from nearby clubs. It's a killer trying to sleep. Also very ordinary Wifi service that can't be made up by the poor 4G service in the area.
