Nice size apartment for 3 guys all with our own room. Well equipped kitchen and nice cosy ski room. Good views of the mountains and near both of the lifts. Very friendly host met us with a free schnapps. Great place to stay would stay again.

Clean and modern, with an ensuite bathroom for every bedroom. Renovated kitchen.

200 euro cash deposit - was returned at the end but would be more comfortable by card - I don't use euros at home so I would prefer not to have leftover cash at the end of the trip. But this was a small issue.

In general, the accommodation (the room is not too small; we even had a dishwasher in our room along with all necessary chemicals) and the location (close to the ski lift; the house is right next to the river) are good.

I would give the highest rating if it weren't for one incident: after we checked out of our room, we went hiking. The moment we returned from a 14km hike, totally exhausted, the apartment owner informed us that she had found damage that we allegedly caused to the headboard (the vertical part) of the bed on the side where I slept. I don't remember touching this part with anything except my head and the pillow. I took a look at the area on my partner's side, and even there, some parts of the coating were beginning to fall apart. This meant that the damage was not an accident, but IT HAPPENED ONLY DUE TO THE LOW QUALITY OF THE HEADBOARD COVERAGE. After I tried to convey this point to the apartment owner, she started threatening us to call the police. I asked her to give me some time to think about the problem because I was exhausted after our 14km hike and could not think clearly. However, the apartment owner insisted that we pay cash right at the moment for the damage we allegedly caused. I had no choice but to pay 125 Euro (she said that this was half of the total sum of 250 euros) for "damaging" the HEADBOARD OF VERY POOR QUALITY. We left the apartment with sad feelings, even though everything started perfectly. The fairytale has gone bad.

Location is great 👍 5 min walk to Ahorn lift, 10 min walk from the center. The house is nicely decorated inside and outside; it has a separate room for ski/boots storage, very convenient. It was warm inside of our appartement and we could dry the clothes easily; rooms are spacious and a good fit for a family of 4 people; two separate bathrooms/toilets which is very comfortable for a family. Sufficient amount of dishes and cups in the kitchen and of a good quality. We asked for 30 min later check out and the gast lady nicely allowed us to check out at 9.30am instead of 9am (although we actually checked out at 10am..)

The outfit of the appartement is pretty old (90ties of last century), old furniture and kitchen appliances; no microwave (which was not convenient at all), no kitchen hood (extractor) which is not good for cooking; very old kettle (like 40 years old), not automatic which is not safe as can cause a fire if not switched off manually. We had only a few dishwasher tablets which not enough for the week of stay. There was no broom 🧹 in the appartement which would be quite handy to have as live with a family/kids. Safes in the apartment did not work. We broke one wine glass and the host lady (owner) withdrew €5 from our deposit which we think was not an appropriate price as the cost of a wine glass is €1-2 and not more.

Walking distance to restaurants/shops/public transport/cable cars. Very comfortable and clean.

A little confusing about how many bedrooms you got with the booking.com price. We paid a little extra because uni age son/daughter obviously wanted own bed and not twin beds. But was ok once knew this.

Really nice place to stay. Great location only a few hundred metres from the main cable car up the mountain and to the centre of town. Welcoming owner. Room was clean, spacious and had a well equipped kitchenette. Stayed on the ground floor, so no balcony, but direct access to a small garden area at the side of the guesthouse. Very competitively priced. Would recommend.

The kitchenette did not have an oven (hobs, microwave and toaster only). Not a problem at all from my perspective, but could be a factor for some.
