GermanyThe breakfast did not offer too much variety and the coffee was not the best, but the available options seemed fresh.
For us and our dog, it was a stopover for only one night, but we liked the spacious and clean rooms. The attached showers were newly renovated and we liked the concept, but it might not be ideal for families with kids. Free parking is available and there is a pool, but we didn't use it.

RomaniaThe staff was somewhat indifferent. Probably typical for Austria, the shower was not in the same room as the toilet. The shower was separated from the room by a curtain. The small room with the toilet had a urine smell, typical of public restrooms. A four-star hotel but it doesn't have a refrigerator. Weak WiFi signal.

United KingdomHowever, the room had an odd design, with an open plan shower in the room, one metre away from the beds and no privacy curtain. Also, the beds were squeaky for some reasons, although we are just a regular family. It was such a contrast with the opulence of the entrance and we really could not understand. We would urge an investment in the design of the room to include an en-suite, instead of open plan showers. One other thing: the breakfast was not child friendly at all. European buffet with mainly cold and warm meats, eggs, cheese and no fresh fruit, no pastries. It was a breakfast stuck in time, unfortunately and our child didn't find anything to enjoy, not even the cereals that were either too big as flakes or with no real taste... This is not 4 stars standard.
A great location for the hotel, right off the motorway, in a village. There is a petrol station and a supermarket on the way, before you reach the hotel. The hotel's front of house is wonderful and the staff have been fantastic, especially that we arrived a bit late around 8pm. They have a restaurant on site, which is open till 9pm. The hotel looks luxury if you are to judge by the reception hallway and the corridors all with marble floors. The room had a balcony and we could see the forest behind with the fantastic garden that is at the back of the hotel. We arrived after a rain and the air was so pure and fresh...
