Friendly staff, great location and food. Breakfast is varied and there are several options to choose from for dinner. Good sound insulation.

The stay was a great one. The hotel is situated very close (within few minutes walking distance) to three cablecars taking you up the hills around and 2 minutes from a bus station that runs either to Zell am See or to Lengau. There is also a minigolf area next to the bus station. The hotel offers a Joker card that enables you to ride free of charge with all nearby cablecars within the area, ride local buses and trains, play minigolf and much more. Dinners are delicious - wide range of salads, very good soups, delicious second meals (choice of four different one of each is usualy a fish dish, meat dish, vegetarian dish and a dish for children) and very tasty desserts. Breakfast is very good, too. Just beware of the fact that Tuesdays the hotel does not offer dinners as that is the day the staff has a free evening. However, there is a lot of restaurants withing walking distance plus Spar supermarket. We appreciated the saunas - there are four of them (finish sauna, herbal sauna, steam and infrared sauna) and a quiet room with six relaxation booths. The saunas are pretty small, but since there are four of them, it never happened that there would not be a one empty and waiting for us ;-) - we were always alone in the sauna, as we and all the other people respected the privacy and there was enough other options. Rooms are clean, room service every day. Staff very nice. We took many beautiful tours around the area, the mountains are charming and you could stay for a month and still have places to go and tours to take. If you go to one of the recommended tours to Tristkogel (which we did), just make sure that you are not affraid of higts - at the top you have to literally climb the rock and afterwards walk a path with steep slopes maybe hundreds of metres on both sides. Not for uncertain hikers... Zell am See cca 40 minutes distant by bus (which is free with Joker card). Overall a great stay and I recommend it with pleasure :-).

Everything was exceptionally clean all the time. The room was soundproof and very comfortable. The view was pittoresque. The staff was all the time very helpful and nice. The breakfast and dinner was exceptionally tasty, of good quality, and a lot of varieties.

Location couldn't be better. Right next to a ski lift and only 5 mins walk to one of the main lifts too. Excellent breakfast with fresh omelette, scrambled egg and bacon plus all the continental breakfast items too. Fresh coffee machines and fresh juice.

Everything was honestly spot on

Great breakfast, great dinner, great sauna/wellness. The ski room is also great, every room has own heated box, you can enter with lift directly from the street, no need to bring skies via the stairs. Directly behind the hotel is lift (Bergfriedlift) where you can enter the ski area.

We loved our stay at the hotel, everything was super clean, location is very good and the food is excellent! Staff was very nice, especially the reception and the very nice ladies serving us dinner.

Pillows were not comfy, for us at least. The beds and floor squeak - you cannot be stealth at night. Unfortunately there is little to no soundproofing, you hear everything clearly from the hallway and the neighboring rooms.

Wonderful place, really clean and comfortable. Amazing and really friendly staff.

Friendly and attentive staff. No problems of any sort. Will will come back for sure. Free access to 6 cable cars and buses. Hotel very clean and well maintained. Variety of food for breakfast (with cakes) and exceptional dinner a la carte. Beautifully presented and tasteful desserts

Great location in walking distance to whole Hinterglemm village, including cable cars and bus stop to whole Saalbach-Hinterglemm valley 2 minutes away. Joker card included. Great breakfast and even better dinner. Dinner is chosen, usually from 3 options (Meat, Fish or Vegetarian), during breakfast and served directly by staff (except for salads). All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Sauna is very modern and has 4 options (Finnish, Herb, Steam and Infra-red). Whole hotel is very clean and well kept. Also, our room was very spacious, every day very well cleaned and furniture had a nice design. I could feel that all the staff care about the hotel and hotel guests. Very much recommended!

Wifi connection was strong however you had to log in every 24 hours, which was okay for phones, but for smart TV in room, it was bit more complicated. But once I asked reception how to do it, I could do it by myself (still had to do it on every device, every day). Also, connection was not secured, basically anybody in reach could log in to hotel wifi.

Amazing hotel where the food, facilities and staff made the visit simply top notch. We were a family of four with teenage kids visiting during July 2024, we had breakfast and dinner and higly reccomend this hotel.

Very friendly staff, good food, very clean !

Staff were helpful, room was spacious and bike parking facilities superb. The whole hotel was very clean and well designed.

Booked half-board but didn't realise they close kitchen and bar on a Tuesday. They give you €10 back each which doesn't go close to the cost of a replacement meal.
