Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe walls and doors allow noise from the common areas to fill our bedroom. If there's a party in the dining area or lounge, it felt like we were sleeping in the middle of it. The room felt small, but we did have a lot of luggage so it was partially our fault. While the posada is well-located for vineyard tours in Lujan de Cuyo, there isn't much in terms of food options nearby in the evenings. Nothing within walking distance, so a vehicle is necessary if you want to get out in the evenings.
There is private parking, a lovely garden with chairs and tables for coffee in the morning and/or wine at night. The staff, especially Rodolfo, was very welcoming and attentive to our needs or requests. The posada is clean and the neighborhood is quiet. The beds were very comfortable! Breakfast in the morning was sufficient, and the staff was able to schedule tours/visits for us to vineyards and olive oil producers nearby. There is a nice wine list to enjoy a bottle in the garden with family/friends.

United StatesIt is in the middle of a residential area. The staff don't communicate what you can and can't do. We were told upon checkout we could be drinking outside wine in our room. We had no idea they just told us it was "on the card" in the room. The card is QR code that says menu, as English speakers we had no idea to check this. The staff tries to be helpful but overall this was a slightly misrepresented stay.
The property is clean and easy to get Ubers

NetherlandsThe breakfast was not good, old bread, no fresh nice bread. Room was a kind of small also for the rating this pousada recieves and it was not possible to pay with my foreign credit card, then the price had to be changed, so payment was quiet complex and a bit tiring.
The location is very nice. The pousada is a kind of small also the rooms were small.

CanadaStayed two nights-- several pictures are not like the place. To me, I think the posada has had changes from how it was. There are no bikes there, just a faded pictogram of routes you might take and maybe something to scan at the desk. I asked to see around the posada due to photos of dinner and wine/bar- the desk girl showed me the breakfast area, because that is what's available. The dinner food pics you see are not on offer ( there is still a barbecue and bar area by the pool), but there is no offer of wine or drinks, or dinnner. Nespresso- yes, two machines but you pay extra for it at breakfast. When it was 10:08 am, the server removed everything, even the cold water, the coffee. No coffee, tea, cold water the rest of the day. We had eaten but another couple was just beginning, and the effect was, guests scrambling to get a glass or cup of what they wanted. The desk staff sits in the living area/ fireplace area in the evening and watches the TV (maybe it is their home) so that area does not feel very available. Finally, when we asked for possible wineries to go to, where you can tour and have lunch, I got two responses from the map at the desk. I said, so I can tour it? Have lunch there? verified this twice. One was closed and the other was a factory that I arrived at by uber.
Location is quite central, a suburban area, 1.5 kilometre walk from town, going through a shady few streets of mostly residential buildings. The pool is lovely and has pretty towels, and the wine barrel decor is really nice, in the pergola/ garden. Breakfast is a good variety and you can request eggs or an omelette. Beds are comfortable.

United StatesThe only negative, and we found this in several places in both Chile and Argentina, is the coffee is somewhat weak. We travel with VIA packets from Starbucks and that definitely helps. They do have espresso machines, but there is a charge for that coffee.
This is a lovely, small hotel. The staff is exceptional. Everyone from cleaning to meals to front desk was very helpful. We had breakfast included and there was a variety of items to choose from, such as cereal, breads, yogurt and fruit, as well as scrambled eggs made fresh for you. We also ate several dinners there. The selection is limited, pizza, empanadas, salads, however, the empanadas are exceptionally good and a couple of orders of those with a salad and wine make a very nice dinner. The front desk can arrange tours for you and assist with taxis or Ubers. This hotel is located away from the city center but does have a small commercial area that is an easy walk with good restaurants, a grocery store and some shops. We did several wine tours, locations recommended by the staff as well as a tour from Mendoza Wine Tours (highly recommended!) The grounds are lovely but smaller than I expected. Our room had a door that opened to the patio and pool area, and there was an amazing jasmine vine that perfumed the air. It was really more of a tree than a vine. It was lovely to sit outside for dinner and have a good glass of wine with the jasmine smell permeating the air. The pool is small, quite narrow, but on a hot day, it would be lovely for a dip. We were not that fortunate. Overall, this is a great place to stay. We felt safe at all times, the entry is gated but it's a residential area. The town area felt safe and walking was easy with mostly good sidewalks. You'll share them with bikes so do be aware! We would definitely stay here again. Argentina has 2 exchange rates, the official and the "blue" dollar rate. The official exchange rate is 350 pesos/1 USD but the blue rate is 850-950/1 USD. You definitely want to take USD to Argentina. Your credit card will charge you the official rate but some of them, AMEX and VISA for sure, will refund you a better rate based on the blue dollar rate.

United KingdomRooms are a bit dated, particularly the bathroom. The property is guarded by a gate that you need one of the staff to open even when leaving the property. Easy to ring the bell when arriving, but would be helpful if there were a way guests could let themselves out when leaving the property.

ArgentinaThe room was too small, we were accused because one of the sheets had a wine stain but That’s sheets were already there when we arrived to the place, secondly, they try to charge us for a meal that we cannot ate. The Tv was monitor and the cable worked poorly. One night we had to wait almost 15 minutes because the wasn’t anybody to opened us. Finally, Breakfast was very poor too. To sum up the experience was not the better!

United StatesNestled in a very quiet and pretty location, we had a great stay! Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and beds were super comfortable. Loved the layout and sitting/cafe area, and the outside courtyard was nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We ordered wine and tea to our room a couple times and the service was very prompt! Felt very safe and welcome and the location was solid. We had a car and there weren't some great restaurants not more than a 10 min drive away, and of course wineries were plentiful and close by as well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
