Great location in the city center, very clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend Kantar Hostel for anyone visiting Yerevan!

Sometimes the bins in the bathroom and toilet were not emptied and were full of dirty towels.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, the bathroom was clean, the breakfast was sufficient and delicious. Kantar was a place where I met many friends.

It’s very well situated in terms of main tourist attractions. Beds are super comfortable. There is a large common zone for working. Breakfast was included in the booking and was delicious!

At the moment of my check in they didn’t have water so I could only take a shower a couple of hours later, which is not a big problem just unexpected. I also heard someone check in late at night which was really loud.

Only stayed for one night but really liked the breakfast and the view. Girls’ room is very spacious. Nice and helpful staff. Probably the best price for the location and the facilities I have seen.

Hmm... I'm honestly tryna think of something the hostel could actually improve about itself. Certain things in the kitchen are only for use during breakfast, like juice glasses and are kept under lock and key until breakfast commences.

Great location as it was VERY close to many things in town. Twenty minutes north is the opera and Cascades, but about ten minutes in the same direction is the history museum and Republic Square. In the other direction is an outdoor gym PERFECT for getting your swole on! Limited machines, but plenty of parkour training options and punching tire stack. This city itself has drinking fountains everywhere with cold, clean drinking water! Back to the hostel, lol- the beds are clean and comfortable, the tea is free 24/7 and the coffee is free during breakfast! Breakfast could be it's own paragraph- where to start!? You've got eggs that come in three varieties- scrambled, sunny side-up and boiled. There's usually a second main dish such as grisha or rice. Plenty of side options with leafy green salad, various cheeses including cottage, coffee, juice, tea, granola, yoghurt, raisins, walnuts, various kind or preserved meats. There's a dedicated workspace which I'm currently using to type this review with beanbags and various seating options. Dope music all the time, no disrespect to Bob Marley, but I feel that some hostels and coffee shops overdo it on Bob Marley. Kantar, true to her name, has a good mix of music to hear at all times.

Everything is perfect!

Everything! Just like how I fell inlove with Yerevan, I also fell inlove with this place. 100% recommend and 100% will book this place again. I had a smooth check-in. They have a 24-hr reception so its not hard even if you arrive late. The property is very close to republic square and center. The breakfast, chef's kiss. The place is also quiet. You can even stay in the common area even after you check-out. Thank you everyone. I have a lovely stay!

Considering the price, there were some things that should be better. Only two toilets and two showers (one of each combined in the same room) for multiple dorms means that they inevitably got quite messy over the course of a day. While the lockers are quiet, the room door is very much NOT quiet - it squeaks on opening and closing, and closes very loudly even if someone tries to be careful (and most people are not careful). So getting a good night of sleep was almost impossible. Also, the cleaning staff start early, well before checkout time, which again ruins any chance of sleeping in a bit. The location is not bad, but it's a 15-20 minute walk to the streets with most of the interesting things to do in Yerevan. Breakfast offers a lot of variety, but low quality. If you're going to price yourself on the premium end of shared accommodations in Yerevan, these are things that can and should be improved.

It looks the part, and overall it's probably one of the better hostel options in Yerevan, but it has some problems (see below). The positives: the beds are comfortable and have a curtain, and the lockers are big and open and close almost silently. Although it's small, they have spaces for sitting and socializing, including the kitchen/eating area and a balcony. There's also a coworking room, although it's directly next to the main common area so it's not as quiet as one might hope. Wifi worked, well, though.

It could be a bit noisy now because of the construction works next door, however it has nothing to do with the hostel. Earplugs may be helpful.

This is the third time I’m staying in Kantar, and they’ve never let me down, still offering great value for money with an amazing breakfast included. The hostel is well-maintained, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The whole team is friendly and professional. Thank you so much and stay as you are!
