How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was not always European cousine at lunch and not all Armenian dishes are enjoyable for us. Given this, the selection of dietary dishes was quiet limited sometimes

Verified reviewA nice hotel with a comfy room. The swimming pool and its view were amazing. The buffet had a good choice of food. The reception staff were helpful. I didn't use any of the spa treatments but was impressed at the choices.
The staff in the restaurant are permanently miserable. I don't think they ever smile at anyone. They stand in little huddles, scowling at guests. The wifi was weak a lot of the time.

EVERYTHING ELSE THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL I PAID 30K in my currency and its advertised as a 5 stars hotel but the food was not even one star and it was advertised as halal and after eating i double checkedd and he said it included PORK !!! Why did they add the halal sign next to it then ! This completely goes against the ethics !! and there is no AC ? And i told him i needed 10 minutes to check out and they told me 5 maximum as if those 5 minutes were gonna do anything

At our buffet, we carefully label all dishes, and items labeled “HALAL” do not contain pork or non-halal ingredients. As for air conditioning, Jermuk is a mountain resort with a naturally cool climate, especially in the evenings. Therefore, like most hotels in this region, we do not have air conditioning systems installed as they are usually not necessary. We also apologize if your check-out time seemed rushed. While we try to be flexible when possible, during peak periods our team must prepare rooms for guests' arrival, which may limit our ability to extend check-out times. To have a basic body massage, you needed to get a doctor's note (onsite doctor) - which wasn't too painful, but still required extra effort.

Verified reviewI liked absolutely everything. Hotel itself is amazing: beautiful interior, cozy and comfortable rooms, everything is clean. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, ready to help. Room cleaning was exceptional: the bed was changed every two days, and towels were changed daily. Location is perfect - in quiet place facing to the mountains, river and close to the waterfall. The food is varied. All staff in restaurant are very nice. I want to mention Ara in particular - he was very friendly and made us the best coffee. Treatments were good and we didn't expect that so many of it was included in the room rate. Thank you to all ladies and guys in health center, they were very professional. It was one of the best vacations for me. Love everything and looking forward to coming back!
