Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSo so so glad we chose to break up our roadtrip and stay at Greenfields! The guy who greeted us was so lovely and helpful and prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. Our little cottage for the night was wonderful and the air con worked amazingly well. The grounds of Greenfields are beautiful with different places to chill like hammocks or sun loungers in the orchard. For sunset, make sure you go up the small hill behind where they've put swings and a bench, amazing view!

United KingdomNothing at all. Loved every minute of our stay
We just returned from a 12 day trip exploring Georgia and Armenia. While the entire trip was fantastic, what stood out the most for us were 2 experiences. The first was the trek from Stepantsminda in Georgia and the next one was this stay in Armenia. From the time the host came to meet us at Yeghegnadzor until we left the property, we were treated like royalty. It didn’t feel like we were staying in a hotel. It felt like being hosted by a dear friend. The property itself is stunning. It’s a farm with vibeyard, orchard and breathtaking views all around. The accommodation felt like a 5 star hotel. The AC worked perfectly, the beds were as comfortable as clouds and the bathroom was clean and pristine. You can feel that the host has put in his heart and soul to make this the most memorable experience for his guests. Incidentally it was our wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate it. We were served delicious dinner and breakfast from the vegetables grown in the farm. We spent hours sitting and chatting on the swing right outside our room. It was the most magical evening for us. The fact that there is no wifi did not bother us even a bit. It’s a truly a place to unwind and connect with nature. It’s a shame that we could stay only for a day as we had plans for the next day. We were actually sad to leave. If we are ever in Armenia again we would definitely go back and stay for long. Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful haven.

Canada"Two nights at GreenField and it was perfect. The cozy room was spotless with beautiful Armenian carpets, and the mountain views were stunning. We had breakfast and dinner in the outdoor kitchen. Amazing food, amazing setting. Easily one of the most romantic places we have ever stayed in our many travels. Thank you!

GermanyWe loved everything about this cute and quiet place in the middle of fruit trees far away from the road. Our little house was decorated in a rural Armenian style with colorful rugs and blankets, but at the same time modern with a love to detail. We felt at home right away! But the highlight were our lovely hosts who went out of their way to accommodate to our unusual needs: cooking dinner for us after 8.45 pm and preparing breakfast for us at noon! The food was absolutely delicious and breakfast quite a treat with fresh fruit, two kinds of omelettes, sweet pastry, homemade jam etc. We were even allowed to stay on their lovely grounds after check-out to doze off in their hammock! The place is not easy to find, but the owner will come and lead the way in his white Lada car. He doesn’t speak English, but uses a translator app, so that’s not a problem. His wife is currently learning English, so you can have a little chat with her. We wish we could have stayed another day!

The guesthouse is nestled among orchards covering the hillside, surrounded by lush greenery, with birds singing and insects chirping. Sitting on the bench in front of the house, we could gaze at the sweeping valley views. Our room was clean, cozy, and inviting—when we opened the wooden shutters, a beautiful pastoral landscape unfolded before our eyes. The host, a warm and hospitable man, treated us with genuine kindness and prepared the most delicious traditional Armenian dishes. Throughout our stay, he served us fresh seasonal fruits—mulberries, cherries, and apricots—all harvested from his own orchard. The mulberries, in particular, were incredibly sweet and juicy, the best I’ve ever tasted. We loved every moment here. For so long, we had dreamed of escaping the noise of the city and embracing a peaceful countryside life—and in this place, we found exactly that. **An Unforgettable Act of Kindness** Though unrelated to our stay, we were deeply moved by our host’s selfless help. After checking out and visiting Noravank, our car tire was damaged in the rocky hilltop parking lot, We still needed to drive to Yerevan.Since the car was rented in Tbilisi, a frantic phone call confirmed that assistance from there would take too long. In desperation, we contacted our former host. Without hesitation, he coordinated with local helpers, who quickly arrived to change the spare tire. They then guided us to a repair shop in Areni, where the tire was patched, replaced, and pressure-checked. Only after everything was settled did these kind souls finally leave. Throughout the ordeal, our host kept checking in via messages, making us feel cared for in a foreign land. We are endlessly grateful—not just for the wonderful stay, but for this extraordinary act of kindness that went far beyond hospitality. ”

United KingdomWe loved our stay here! The cabin was super cosy and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay as a family. The hosts are lovely and helpful. You are surrounded by a beautiful orchard and a short walk along a steam will take you to the nearby town. The 800 year old bridge is also only a short walk away. The freshly cooked food is delicious- including fresh eggs right from the chickens on sight. Our daughter loved playing with the kittens and there is plenty to do to keep a child busy and content. A really relaxing place to refuel and a great place to stay if you want to visit the nearby Noravank monastery, Areni cave and local wineries.

AustraliaIt is a tad difficult to find if you don’t follow the exact link the host sends to you. Do not follow the Booking.Com link it will lead you through fields and vineyards on impossible tracks to the back gate! Go into the town and find the turnoff that is clearly signposted Greenfield. Do not take any other pathways!
This property is in a beautiful location surrounded by orchards and mountains. The host is a lovely man who made us feel very welcome, treating us to a delicious platter of his organic home grown fruit and nuts, and a pot of the best herbal tea ever! We had a large cottage, complete with a piano! The bathroom was well designed and spacious, the kitchen was located in a separate annexe just outside the cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well organised. The decor very quaint and homely. We enjoyed our very short stay here and wish it was longer.

ChinaIt is the best moment for us. After using Yandex to find the hotel located in the apple and grape farm, we entered the dreamland. The food is great and the room is cozy with heritage. The cat Sev is so cute. We later found the husky dog with 5 kittens in the storage room. A walk in the farm is a tour of knowing different fruits.

Clean, neat and tidy, with special attention to detail. In plain nature, no WiFi, just to relax your mind and play with the cute little cat jumping around on the beautiful terrain. FranceReally nothing. Just note that there is no Wifi.
Once in a while, when travelling, one is fortunate enough to stumble on a place that is so special that one remembers it for years even as other memories of the same trip have long faded. This is one of those places. It’s a green oasis surrounded by mountains, constructed with so much love and attention to detail, and from the very first moment I felt welcomed not just like a guest but as if I were an old family friend. I really cannot recommend this place highly enough! Thank you for the incredible hospitality, for the wonderful food, and for having shared with me this beautiful place. 🙏
