Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location, right at the lake. Beautiful views. Friendly hosts who cooked for us delicious dinner and didn't complain when we asked for some more food even after they had cleaned their kitchen and were ready to go home :)

DenmarkThe bed was very uncomfortable and the rooms are very cold at night. However I would stay again I would just bring better sleeping wear and sleep on an extra blanket. But if you want luxury then try something else.
The location was unreal! Right on the water with amazing views. The restaurant serves fresh fish and vegetables and were cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely and the area was great.

United KingdomThe food and the staff here are fantastic and it's excellent value for money. So peaceful eating a freshly grilled fish looking over the lake, we also had a ride on the jer ski! Just make sure you bring enough cash. We will be back next time we visit Sevan!

ArmeniaShowers and toilets are very very basic, to say the least. But still each apartment has individual shower and toilet, they are clean, in good condition, fully functional, and there is always hot water available. Also at night it might be quite cold inside, they provide blankets and such, and it helps, but something to keep in mind.
Special appraisal to the staff and the kitchen, they cook local fish and meat there, it’s delicious, mandatory to try, and no need to go to any local restaurant, it won’t be better than at Edem. Liked the pier, very comfortable if you want to swim. There is also a pebble beach, jet boats and such. The sun is biting there, so they have sun umbrellas, screens etc. Houses are ok. They also keep a driver around if you want to go to the store, or return to the city.

United Arab EmiratesThe bedding is uncomfortable, reminding us of military stays or old days camps stays, wooden beds with a very thin layer of mattresses that feels like sleeping on the wood directly. No AC or any kind of air conditioning. the food seems to be overpriced, we paid 26K+ drams (almost 70$) for a grilled fish plate, grilled vegetables plate with 2 drinks and bread! So no clarity on pricing and no menu, until you get surprised at the end :)
Basically, you get what you pay for; it's a basic stay at a nice location. it could be managed in a much better way; the rooms can be upgraded, and the bedding could be much better. The location next to the lake is a big plus. Plus, it's a budget-friendly stay, the staff are kind, good for a day experience

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The staff were very friendly. The environment was very clean and peaceful. Even though I was late checking in, they were very kind and waited for me و And the atmosphere was very lovely and quiet. I would go there again and would not be interested in trying anywhere else in the area. ****Highly recommended.****
