Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. United KingdomThe room felt like it hadn’t been finished or like they hadn’t taken the time to make finishing touches. In the wardrobe, the wood had red graffiti on it, likely from when it was cut but a lick of paint wouldn’t have done any harm. The joints in the floor were scuffed and not finished and the shower leaked through into the bathroom floor even on a low setting. This was advertised as having a balcony but it was more like a fire escape and there were no tables nor chairs - so I borrowed some from outside to give us some furniture.
The hotel is stunning. It is VERY instagrammable which you tell from the clientele. The pool was pretty even if small and the spa was outstanding. The room was very spacious, it was very romantic to have a bath in the room and the products in the main bathroom were of a high quality. The decor within the “living area” was modern and stylish. We were also given a beautiful welcome decoration on the bed which was a very very kind gesture. The view from the room out onto the water and with the sunset in the background was phenomenal.

AustraliaThe hot tub needs to be filled on request, after asking reception and being told someone was coming immediately (and following up half an hour later) it ended up being over 3 hours until someone came at which point we were heading out for dinner so was too late. Only one small bottle of water is included in the room, we had to buy more throughout our stay, for the price you pay I think water should be included and replenished. Another really weird thing is that the shower products (shower gel, shampoo etc.) are like large ones connected to the wall (not mini portable ones if you get what I mean) but are located outside the shower, so you had to get out the shower to get the soap haha
This is a lovely hotel, the rooms are gorgeous - we had a hot tub and bathtub in our room which we did not realise when we booked so was a great surprise. The pool is gorgeous and the spa facilities are AMAZING - we were the only guests using it, it was almost like people didn't know about it, so would defs recommend making the most of it during your stay. They have golf buggies to drive you around the property, the breakfast was great and overall it felt very lux. The Zoe Hora restaurant is definitely a highlight so I would recommend having at least one meal there during your stay.

BelgiumMoldy shower, door of bathroom got stuck when opening, window that couldn't close. In the evening you are a stranger in your own hotel due to the huge amount of restaurant guests who take over everything and are often only there for the insta pictures. Quite a few dishes on the restaurant menu were unavailable. Early closing time of pool (18h). This is not in accordance with the price you pay to stay in this hotel.
Beautiful location with a stunning pool. Room was like a cave, very authentic. Hotel is a little village. Really enjoyed the breakfast.

Much larger property than expected with a ton of dining options and bars. The view was incredible and the spa is amazing.

United KingdomIt's very pricey for Albania! The music around the pool in the afternoon was a bit too loud. Personally prefer to be more relaxing.
This place is stunning. If you want high end class but mixed with real Albanian tradition this is the place. It's all fantastic, esp the spa, rooms and food. The manager Alex and his staff are top notch. It's perfect for a couple of days stay.

SlovakiaThe staff has a lot of room for improvement — they need to learn how to act more professionally. This place deserves true 5-star service, especially considering the high prices.
Absolutely perfect seaside vibe that made us feel like we were somewhere on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. The hotel’s stunning design, beautiful views, and stylishly furnished rooms are definitely worth a visit. There’s also a nice spa, and the massage was good. Excellent breakfast. The pool area was beautiful, with pleasant music and a great atmosphere throughout the day. The food at the restaurant was enjoyable but quite expensive for the small portions. Despite that, I really loved my stay at the hotel and would gladly return.

United StatesWe were there in September. Only one restaurant was open and it was very expensive. The wine list was also very expensive and since they were closing down for the season, they didn’t have much of a selection. There are no other restaurants in the village. If you don’t have a car, you are at their mercy for food. There is a small bar within walking distance where the drinks and wines were very reasonable.
The historic rooms and village. The breakfast was wonderful! Ask them to make you eggs any way if you want them.

United KingdomThe breakfast wasn't the best we had in Albania but was still good especially the yogurt and toppings. The parking has something to be desired. I have no idea how if this hotel is full how it would work.
A Beautiful hotel, a real feast for the eyes and a very impressive complex. The spa and sauna were fantastic especially the outdoor pool area. The room was amazing - best hotel room ive ever had - very lavish and boutique. Very helpful staff

SwitzerlandSome things are missing in the room, such as tea bags, cups, cream for coffee, glasses, trash can, soap holder. Restaurant staff is slow and not friendly. Also very strange that they don't clean the rooms every day, or they come late in the afternoon. Dhermi is a charming village, but there are no nice restaurants or bars around, you have to drive everywhere .
The architecture is amazing, rooms and beds are very comfortable, very nice pool and spa included in the price. The spa is brand new and extremely nice. The view is a dream. Breakfast is also OK, not amazing but good. Hotel and reception staff are very polite and helpful, the unfriendly staff is at the restaurant and bar, with a stark difference in attitude and quality of work.

NorwayWe stayed in end of season, literary the staff left the same day we did, took 40min to check out. Even though it was obviously a popular place, people coming for dinner and taking lots of pictures, the restaurant was out of same things. Tables from breakfast were not clean for a long time, which being right next to the pool gave a unattended look. The internet was on and off.
The hotel is beautiful but a little far from the beach without a car, too steep to walk back. The room was very big and had an original wall making it very beautiful (even though the protection glass was not isolated all around and so bugs would came into the room from there). The SPA is incredible, truly recommend having a massage here.

Excellent and beautiful hotel! Spa was great, room size amazing and the views are unbeatable. Make sure you park next to the barrier gate for easy of parking/driving. Location of the hotel is definitely a bit remote, but you can drive down to the beach boulevard in 10 minutes where there are lots of options for dining (although in low season a lot will be closed).

PortugalThe service could be improved but the staff is nice and helpful. Beautiful architecture but the interiors are heavy, specially the bedrooms, a more Mediterranean feel would be more suitable.
Beautiful project recovering and integrating the old village houses in the hotel. Amazing location with stunning views, the food is very good and so is the spa. It was our last night in Albania so we didn't visit Dhermi Beach but just the hotel was worth the stay.

United KingdomWe loved the location in a quiet area of Dhermi but be mindful there are not many other restaurants to walk to from the hotel but the beach is a 10min drive.
Zoe Hora is an absolutely stunning hotel to stay in, it's a real treat hotel full of luxury! The building and gardens are beautiful and welcoming, the room was amazing with the added addition of a jacuzzi which was fabulous! Great showers with lovely products and the bed super comfy. We loved the little balcony too with gorgeous views and the pool/dining area was also very pretty. Breakfast was traditional Albanian with good choice and the waiter was very helpful.

United KingdomHowever this was paired with disappointing customer service including slow responses, staff which seemed to avoid you when needing service and food which was very mediocre. This hotel really has the potential to be a luxury 5*, however some intense customer service training is needed.

BelgiumThe restaurant is overpriced and Waiters have not much experience. Also the staf just sit back in the bar behind the pc and just sitting lay back and looking on there Phone. They had verry few choice of wine and food. Most things were not available. Verry hard to get to know the price of the wine. I took me 5 times to ask and i had to go true 3 different waiters to finally get a wine that was not on the winemenu and costed 60 euro. I think that was the cheapest bottle. They have no house wine and do not sell wine per glass.
Beautiful room with view. Breakfast was good, not so bad as i read in the reviews. Ask the securitymen to take your lugage to the hotel so that you do not need to do the stairways. Friendly staff.

United KingdomDinner at the restaurant is a huge missed opportunity. The setting is stunning and the staff are friendly but the food is very average - even more so when considering how expensive it is. It’s also not clear on arrival where you should park. The security guard wasn’t keen to help either. The confusion led to us parking outside the hotel perimeter in an area where my partner was attacked and bitten by a dog. Hopefully the hotel make this clearer with communications beforehand and better signage.

United StatesWe arrived at the end of the season and the day after a large wedding so it seemed like the staff was a little burnt out. The restaurant food was ok. Property was slightly challenging to get to by car (steep narrow road) but we appreciated that they picked us and our luggage up with a golf cart at the gate.
Beautiful property in an amazing location. The pool was very relaxing. You cannot beat the views from this location. Room was beautiful as well with balcony overlooking the town and water. Definitely worth the trip for a night or 2. We wish we’d had an extra day in dhermi to explore the town and spend more time by the pool.
