How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Verified reviewIt was a great 1-week experience. The hotel was brand new and and the staff was very friendly. Everytime we went into the hotel they would greet us. They would bring us whatever we wanted without a charge even though the breakfast was not an open buffet. Even though there are many points to improve, we definitely enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. It's a 3-4 minute walk to the beach of you go in between the hotels, don't take the longer route.
Due to hotel being new, there were some shortcomings. One of our beds did not have a nightstand and there was no bathroom shelves to put the soap and shampoo in the douche area. At the staircases the ceilings are at some points very low, our recommendation would be to put some kind of warning signs in those points. We almost hit our heads at first time we came into the hotel.

Verified reviewThe hotel was new, clean, friendly staff and well-equipped. They allowed us to check in a little earlier. A quiet and relaxing space. Good air conditioning room.
Breakfast was not offered as an open buffet but served according to a limited menu. During breakfast time there was some noise. The courtyard was a bit small, but there were a few tables where you could sit quietly to have a coffee or a cigarette.

Verified reviewGreat location, close to the beach, but away from the noise of the main street. Very comfortable large bed! Helpful kind staff (although one of the boys frequently forgets things we asked him/ordered on breakfast). Breakfast was okay, although only one good option (omelette with veggies and feta) and if you don’t eat eggs, you are stuck with either some small fruits, packaged croissant or cornflakes. This gets repetitive quickly. AC and Wifi work great!
Hard to find - google maps address is not correct and we drove around until finding it. Floor was dirty on arrival. Rooms are not cleaned until you ask at the reception. No door hangers “please clean” for this purpose. No balcony, no place to dry towels and swimsuits apart from one hanger. The cable of the LED mirror in the bathroom was cut and light not working. Very small mirror in the room. The TV was not installed correctly, was crooked and was about to fall. We didn’t use it, but still. Safe was not working - perhaps needed a battery replacement.

In addition, we provide the option to rent beach towels for €1 per day or to use our laundry service (up to 7 kg of clothes) at a very reasonable price. About breakfast, please note that with the continental option we always include seasonal fresh fruits, alongside the standard choices. Depending on the package you booked, the offer may vary, but our kitchen team is always happy to assist with any special requests when possible. Our chef has over 27 years of professional experience in England, and we are proud of the quality and consistency of the dishes prepared. As for the service, indeed some of our waiting staff are younger, as part of our commitment to support and train motivated young people who want to work and grow in hospitality. They are supervised and guided closely to ensure service standards are met. Our property is a boutique hotel, designed to provide a personal and welcoming atmosphere, with services aligned to the standard of bed & breakfast accommodation. We officially opened on 10th July 2025, and as a new business, we highly value every review. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants, with the added bonus of free on-site parking. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the beds, which made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was a highlight – delicious and freshly prepared, with a friendly and experienced chef who made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be coming back. A Shametaj 🦅

However, the air conditioning was not working. The breakfast service either needs improvement or should be removed altogether. The overall service was poor and disorganized For guests staying more than 3 nights, place some door cards so they can indicate whether the room needs cleaning

Verified reviewThe room was new and nicely furnished. However, I would recommend placing a sign on the door for guests to request cleaning, as my room was not cleaned for three days. Secondly, the breakfast was very poor. The grilled peppers and undercooked zucchini were inedible, and the only sweet option was a packaged croissant. Also, it took 20 minutes just to get a glass of water.
