It has a lot of potential if the staff learns how to make money off people 😄 - we were at the pool and could've had a lot of drinks, but nobody came to ask if we wanted anything although they were walking around.

The room was clean and spacious. The outside area was really nice.

Breakfast (including coffee) doesn't start until 8, and only includes your first cup of coffee. Small issue, given the overall breakfast was great.

Warning ! Parties, live music and celebrations outside every second day , sometimes even up to 3.30 AM with VERY loud Albanian music :( Windows could'nt block the noise . That was very difficult to sleep in the hotel rooms . With breakfast they should finally decide how to serve and possibly change the way eggs /omelette ? is served .

Very good location in rural area 10 km from Durres. Comfortable rooms, cozy area, nice people , very good service . Nice swimming pools , good restaurant , nice view and sorrounding (vineyards and fields) . Big and comfortable children playground . Great bar and the service at the pool - good quality and price . Everything clean and well equipped . Really comfortable during the day . Warning ! Some things to note - but doesn't in any way mean we don't recommend staying here: - The property is a fair way away from the centre, we would highly recommend having a car if you are going to stay here. Reception can definitely book you a taxi but it did cost between EUR15-EUR20 depending on where you want to go and won't always be able to be there quickly. - We noticed that there was an excess of staff on at all times, they would hang around a lot on their phones, or just chatting and clump together as well which just doesn't really look right, as a customer we felt a bit funny to approach as they wouldn't really acknowledge us until we interrupted. As a whole the staff was very friendly when you did end up speaking to them but it just looks a bit unprofessional for such a beautiful hotel and I think it would make other guests uncomfortable too.

We really loved our stay at Vinea Resort - the hotel is beautifully set in a wine area and the views from our room was so lovely and we really didn't want to leave. They have a restaurant, pool bar, and animals on site and also grow their own vegetables and fruit. We originally booked a standard room, but when we arrived it just felt a bit small and had very little light, it would have been totally fine but we asked if we could upgrade and they had a room with pool view available which just made our stay that extra bit special. We would definitely stay here again! The cleaning staff and kitchen ladies brightened up our day each day - very warm and friendly.

From the negatives, the island sunbeds were extremely expensive (50€). The staff was very nice, but slow, we waited over 20minutes for a can of coke. Many things were broken, like our door lock or the toilet seat in the pool bathroom.

The overall experience is very positive. The hotel area is huge. There is a big pool divided into 3 parts. There are a lot of sunbeds, and even islands on the pool with sunbeds. The hotel food menu is quite small, but the food was delicious and it was relitavely cheap. The vineyard was not only impressive but also huge. There are a lot of animals around the hotel, places for kids to play, a lot of walking area and a lot of tables/chairs to sit down. The hotel rooms themselves were okay, nothing special, but they were clean. There are about 12 rooms in the hotel in total, so it’s a perfect family and couple destination who want to relax in peace and luxury. The hotel is very nice, and elegant, and the staff is very helpfull.

Unfortunately, the delux room we hade pre booked was not available when we checked in. So we were offered a standard room with a discount.

Overall we had a good experience, nice facilities,good food and wine, and comfortable clean rooms also a big ➕️ for the private parking.

- The spa was under construction and the swimming pool was closed but its understandable as it wasn’t summer. - People could smoke inside the hall (but we believe this is allowed in the country). - We got used to it, but there was music on during the day (we also believe this happens in all horeca in the country).

- The complex is very beautiful and is surronded by nature, vineyard and has a lot of areas for relax. - All the staff was exceptional: kind, humble, always checking on us, recommending us places to go… - It was very clean!! - We could have our meals outside but also inside, which is very nice as one can decide where to eat.

Due to the location, it wasn't as accessible to travel into Durres and Tirana as easy as I expected, however, if you are looking for a relaxing, slow paced and family orientated experience like spending time around the pool etc, this hotel would be an excellent choice. During my stay, I developed good relationships with various taxi drivers and found the journey into Durres easy by the end of the trip, so I was not put off by the distance as the trip progressed.

The hospitality of the staff was excellent as I always felt looked after and catered in relation to my needs as a guest. The staff always went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible by making sure I was well fed and catered for in my room through taking care when washing my clothes etc. The staff were excellent at giving me recommendations about places to visit and eat and were very efficient at ordering me taxi's into Durres and surrounding areas.

In the middle of nowhere, almost no one speeks English, not well maintained, SPA was closed, swimming pool open 7-19 but was still being cleaned after 8am, balcony had bird nests and bird droppings

The object is perfect, few rooms surrounded by the beautiful pool in which you can get a drink as there is a pool bar. The restaurant serves perfect food and wine and the price is more than affordable.

The breakfast was not as good as expected. A simple omelette was served with a few slices of cucumber and tomatoes, 2 slices of ham and a stick of cheese. No drinks were offered for the breakfast.

The resort was beautiful and clean and with car not too far from Durrës. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures and the pool area was great.

For a supposed 5-star resort you would expect more attention to detail. Few times we were denied simple services such as having a cocktail or orange juice, because the "right person" wasn't there. We weren't offered any drinks during breakfast and had to pay for water when asked, but came to learn only afterwards that coffee and hot tea were included. Hopefully these small things will iron out in the future.

Beautiful looking resort, in the middle of the wine yards. Huge property to enjoy a walk around and meet with some animals. You can enjoy dinner at a table with no one around since there is so many different areas to sit in the vast garden. The pool is great, again with a variety of sunbathing areas. The room was beautiful, luminous and with great views of the property. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful with what they could.

Friendly staff, service with care for the guest, nice area of the swimming pool and garden. Iris from the reception was responsive to every request. We felt like in a family.

I've been here several times and the last time was 2 years ago. I thought that they would correct the issues from before, which were somewhat funny then, but now are already annoying. E.g. in the morning you can choose either a coffee or a juice once, as you need to pay for the other, including water. The tap water is not drinkable, but they give only 2 1/2 lit bottles on the first day, while for any other, regardless of your duration of stay, you need to pay!? I ordered pancakes one morning for breakfast and they were quite good, so I ordered them even the next morning but received only half of the previous ones !? They have a nice pool with a bar in it, but you can not order coffee. However, the local guys can drink and smoke inside the pool while swimming. Also, diving is not allowed, except if you are local. However, using the pool is not allowed after 7pm, although the sun was until 9pm!? 2 years ago we could use for free some places near the pool but now you need to pay for it. The room was also equipped with several spiders!? The kids room didn't have the TV remote control and they were not able to find another one, although most of the rooms were empty (I wonder why). The service is notoriously slow...that was funny before, but not anymore. And that is a highlight of this review: not anymore.

The architecture and the overall design of the place are great with a lot of potential.

FANTASTIC! Wine testing was so good with a great dinner. Who ever mentioned the place was dirty it was absolutely not true. The place is so beautiful and worth every penny that I will definitely come back! ❤️ Breakfast is so delecious.
