A charming, simple, place on the outskirts of Theth, away from the (surprising) noise of the village center. We stayed on the upper floor of a the wooden cabin. The room had a comfortable bed, shower with hot water (always available), WiFi, and stunning views. No air conditioning, which didn't bother us since we were there during three cold days with intermittent rain (middle of August).

Nothing. Everything was superb

Guesthouse managed by a full family. Everyone had his own role. They were all very kind and hospital. They really show they worry for our comfort. They have a place to clean the clothes. The time for dinner, breakfast and lunch was open to our will. We booked a private room with double bed and private toilet and was very comfortable.

We had a great time. We were staying at one of the wooden lodges, the beds were good and the breakfast very nice! The hosts were very kind and the location is excellent (a bit away from the surprisingly busy centre of Theth, which we liked). Finding it was easy once you spot the signs leading to the Villa. We would recommend staying here.

As others have said there was no shower screen/curtain so the bathroom gets very wet but we did not find this a big issue and it would not stop us staying there again.

It was a great location. Nicely set back from the 'main road'. Not far from the Theth to Valbone home. We stayed for 5 nights after doing the Valbone to Theth hike and it was a good base for exploring other hikes in the area. The owners sons spoke some English and we had no issues communicating. The room was small but pleasant and sufficient for our needs. Breakfast portions were very generous. The milk and cheese were from the family's cow which lived by the guest houses and the honey and fig jam were delicious.

Some lights didn’t work, the curtain needed some fixing, no small lamp at the night table and in the description was written there was a jacuzzi what there isn’t in the room.

It was nice The lamb we eat at the restaurant was excellent. They helped us washing some clothes and all and all was fine, not spectacular or unforgettable. Just fine.

The walls and floors are very thin - we were on the top floor but could hear the room next door pretty clearly and the barking dogs at night. Didn’t bother us too much though as we were happy with the value for money.

Perfect for our 1 nights stay in Teth. Walking distance to the mini mart, bus stop and 2 restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Was handy having breakfast included too (we loved the Albanian version of pancakes!)

Property was very hard to find as there were no signs for this one. A member of staff walked into my room without knocking. The shower was broken from the wall.

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Beautiful location with stunning views. Breakfast was also nice. Well located and easy to get to everywhere I needed to go.

Very sweet traditional guesthouse, off the main road but close to the centre of the village (supermarket and restaurants) as well as the trailheads. John and his family were incredible, despite a language barrier they were such wonderful hosts - so kind and welcoming and did everything to make us feel at home. They accommodated my gluten free vegetarian requirements for breakfast, always welcomed us with huge smiles after our hikes, taught us some Albanian phrases and just made us feel like part of the family. The room was small but clean and comfortable, it was a perfect base for a couple days of hiking in theth.

Room was tiny and way smaller than it appeared on the pictures. Even at 1,63 m my girlfriend couldn't walk around the bed without hunching, because of the slanted ceiling. Air was really stuffy and the tiny window didn't help. Bathroom didn't have shampoo. We had booked for 2 nights, but decided to leave early, because we wouldn't have been able to even unpack our second suitcase because there was so little room. Still had to pay for 2 nights. For one night for one person okay.

Villa Belinis is a MUST when visiting Theth. Our host, John, went above and beyond. By the end of our trip we were obviously sad to be leaving Theth, but we were even more disheartened to be leaving John and his wonderful guesthouse. The breakfast John dished up for us everyday, served from 8-10am, was nothing short of superb (pictures included in the review, the pancakes were out of this world). The guest house also offers lunch and dinner—made by, you guessed it, John. Just ask John to show you the menu, let him know what time you’d like your meal made by, and then you’ll come back to a fantastic meal. He cooks a mean Pork and Veal fyi. Although John doesn’t speak much English, we had ample communication through google translate and gestures. The guesthouse is located far enough away from the city centre that you enjoy peace and tranquility, but close enough (5 minute walk) that you don’t miss out on any of the fun. We stayed 4 days/ 3 nights in Theth, which we felt was a perfect length. This duration allowed us one leisurely day to wander around Theth and fully enjoy our guesthouse, one day to hike half of the Valbona trail—8.5 miles round trip to the peak—and one day for the 13-mile out-and-back hike to Blue Eye. Needless to say, we will forever be shouting from the rooftops how much we highly recommend booking a stay here :)!!

Our stay at the guesthouse was fantastic. It was a very cozy and familiar place, perfectly located very close to the end of the Valbona - Theth route. Situated in a very picturesque mountainous area, the landscapes were beautiful. All the food was very delicious. The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home. He provided us with great support. His son speaks perfect English so we could communicate well without a problem. Without a doubt, we recommend this place 100%!

The room and surroundings are incredible! The hosts are super welcoming and will help you with everything you need and more. The electricity fell off once but we didn’t even notice. It’s a 10 minute walk from the bus stop and store (we didn’t have a car but you can get around Theth kist perfectly).
