How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The style and the calmness. It is situated outside the city noise and you can enjoy your stay. It has a parking nearby the villa which makes it easy for you to park. Inside the villa you can find an well designed house.

The hosts are super nice and reachable. The accommodation is very clean and corresponds perfectly to the photos. In addition, it is a few steps from the beach and plenty of restaurants. Very convenient when you are on foot. Everything was perfect thank you very much!

Good location, a few streets off the water. Road to get in is a little rocky, but that’s a lot of Albania. The outside parking area is still under construction, but nevertheless easy to locate. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Shower had good heat & pressure, just no screen so the water goes everywhere.. also a lot of Albania. Mini fridge & little kitchenette very handy. Staff were very kind.. did our laundry for free & dropped us to the bus station for cheaper than a taxi at 0530. Would recommend!

The entry road is not with cement and a little bit further in from the beach front

Just a minor thing, There were no hangers for the towels.
The apartment was brand new renovated. Very clean. Comfortable beds. It's near the seafront promenade.

We loved our stay at Vila Magis, albeit it was a short trip. The location was great as it was close to the ferry port, the beach and supermarkets. The outdoor area was lovely, we spent a couple hours on the hammock chairs in the morning and it’s great for eating at in the evening with all the string lights. We had a very comfortable stay, it felt safe/secure and set away from the road so no traffic noise. I would definitely recommend to others and stay here if ever in Vlorë again. Only recommendation would be it would be handy to have a hair dryer in the bathroom but other than that it was faultless.

Everything was great.
We had a great stay at the villa! It was very quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing. The host was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. There was also a large parking area, which made everything more convenient. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back again!

Wonderful accomodation, hosts friendly and easy to communicate with. Very modern apartment with great amenities! Only a short walk to lots of great restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if ever back in Vlorë!

It is a nice apartment just 2 streets away from the beach. It seems recently renovated and it has everything you need - a comfortable bed, kitchen, terrace and a big bathroom. The hosts are also very nice and friendly. You can park just in front of the house so you do not have to worry about finding a parking place. The hosts also sent us a message prior to make sure they can welcome us when we come.

Nice, english speaking host. All clean, a nice small terasse. Near the center short walk to the beach. To find lokation look at google maps with photos to see the shirt gravel road. We enjoyd the stay

My experience at Vila Magis was incredible! The villa is modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious with fully equipped kitchens and lovely balconies. Its location is perfect—close to the beach but still peaceful. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend Vila Magis for anyone visiting Vlorë. I can’t wait to return!

As the place is rather new there are no towel racks, only one or two plates of different sizes...but it was just minor issues - nothing to worry about
The place was clean, the location is not far away from the sea boulevard, the host was great and we got a little present too in a form of cake! Totally recommend!
