The only thing to improve is to be able to take card payments… as we had to withdraw cash to pay for our stay and atm fees in ksmail are ridiculous

The location on the hillside (mountain) wasn't ideal, as there are only two public beaches, and they were about 2 km away from Vila Chelsea. This meant I had to walk a long way to the beach every day, about 4-5 km. Unfortunately, most of the beaches there are private and very expensive. You pay €10-30 per person per day for a sun lounger or beach bed in Ksamil! But that has nothing to do with the accommodation, and I felt very comfortable. :)

My host, Jessica from London, was super friendly and helpful, and even gave me money back for the bus fare. She also lent me cutlery and dishes so I could prepare my breakfast and watermelon. I was really grateful that she didn't have to withdraw money again to have cash for the bus fare.

The location and proximity to the sea are quite good. If you want to stay in Ksamil, you can choose it as a friendly, hospitable, safe, and clean option. They are welcoming and helpful people.

The neighbourhood immediately surrounding the property doesn't have much ambiance - no stores, cafés, or restaurants. If you're looking for that on your doorstep, this isn't your place. Also, be prepared to pay in cash immediately upon arrival.

The room was clean, spacious and modern with a large balcony which was a plus. Kettle, iron, and hair dryer available on request, but the room is fitted with a refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well, which was nice for getting good rest in August when it was quite hot. It's about a 10 minute walk into town or from the Sarande-Butrint bus stop, located slightly uphill, but we knew that ahead of time, and this wasn't a problem for us given the difference in price.

The location was great. Had an amazing view of the water from the balcony. The room was comfortable and spacious. We were able to dine at the restaurant owned by the same Family and really enjoyed the views and the food. Overall we had a great experience.
