We came to celebrate a birthday, so we chose to invest in a very expensive hotel that boasted in the pictures a large balcony with a sea view and a jacuzzi. When we arrived, we were given a side room with a small sea view and a balcony to a junk room. We asked for another room that matched what we got, but the guy told us he had no other guests in those rooms. The same guy who received us asked us to cancel the reservation on Booking because he was paying them 30%. We didn't want to cancel the reservation, in order to give a reliable and transparent review to all the other guests. In the morning, he asked us to check out at 10:00 because he wanted to vacate the room at 10:00 for someone else who was arriving early, even though the reservation said 11:00. That day was wasted because we felt "scammed" and that we had fallen for a scam. We paid 220 euros for a side room when other hotels in the area were up to 150 euros, which is even higher than where we were.

The room was clean, and very close to the beach.
