How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The rooms, they were so clean and comfortable; the pool was nice, the beach was so easy to access just in front of the hotel; the restaurant was really good. The receptionists were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I really appreciate them helping me surprise my mom for her birthday!

Verified reviewWow! Let me start by saying I was absolutely blown away by my entire visit to Albania. As a first-time traveler there, it was an unforgettable experience. For me, it always comes down to the people who help you along the way—and in this case, the staff at Tris3 made all the difference. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, and my room faced the beach, gifting me with stunning sunrise and sunset views. But what truly stood out was the hospitality. I want to specifically mention two staff members, Ira and Anna. From the moment I booked, Ira reached out to ensure everything was coordinated for a smooth arrival. She thoughtfully provided an ideal itinerary and guidance on how best to get around. Toward the end of my stay, Anna played an equally pivotal role in making my departure just as seamless. Without their support, my trip would have been far more stressful. My advice to fellow travelers: Stay at Tris3 not only for the beautiful accommodations, but for the staff who genuinely go above and beyond to make your experience exceptional.

Verified reviewThe place is nice and new. The caretaker is amazing. He is kind and always on top of fixing the place. The location was great, calm location. Great beach access.
Getting a room key was hard. They provide one and if you forget it, they just come with you to your room. Room service was questionable at best. We had to ask to get our room cleaned daily. The cups were left dirty in the sink so we just cleaned them ourselves. For breakfast they served us left over cake from a 7 year olds birthday party from the day before. A breakfast you pay for might I add... It was all, interesting.

This place is still a work in progress, a lot of details in rooms and infrastructure are incomplete (eg no safe deposit box in one room, an uninstalled in the other); staff lack training and simple things in breakfast service are inefficiently and ineffectively organized/set up.

Verified reviewThe hotel is very nice, the room was excellent with a great view. It was very convenient to cross the street and be at the beach using the sunbeds and beach towels provided by the hotel. The breakfast was quite good. Front desk staff are very friendly, especially Ana.
Housekeeping kept entering the room while I was in the room, despite the Do Not Disturb light being on. Even after being asked, the housekeeper was pushy and insistent to enter. It felt very uncomfortable and invasive. Another drawback is the loud music blasting day and night, it's impossible to enjoy a quiet moment once you step out of your room. The restaurant at the hotel was overpriced and only accepts cash. Cash machines nearby charge a very high fee.

The hotel was a little far from the center of Vlore city. Rent a car if possible. The hotel has a parking.

Verified reviewOne reception lady was helpful when we had issues and she is really trying her best. Thank you. We had 2 rooms, but was a part of a group of 10 people, with 5 rooms in total. Clean rooms. A nice shop down the rd and some good local restaurants in the area. Beach nice. Hotel is on a busy rd, but it wasn’t noisy just abit hard to cross the rd at times . No footpath , improvements are being made in the area for the infrastructure so will make this a positive.
Poor health and safety around the pool, no pool service for drinks. Unhelpful staff in restaurant, food took ages for lunch to arrive. Breakfast not of good international standard or food safety standards Music playing until very late at night, which is disturbing to our sleep. Not allowed to bring your own water in , but there wasn’t a shop on site to buy anything. Have been to 50 countries , have stayed in plenty hotels, resorts around the world and have never been stopped for this. Staff and owners need some training on what good customer service is and how to go the extra mile for your paying guests’. The hotel will reply to my review making excuses instead of looking at the issues and fixing them to make it a better place as it has potential.

FALSE ADVERTISING They didn’t have a lot of the things they said they did. No bathrobe No microwave No hot water for showers-I had one hot shower in 3 days No security safe- we asked about it they said it would come the next day but never arrived No clothes rack to dry swimsuits - they said the room size didn’t have one so they shouldn’t have ticked it No facecloths or vanity kit so had to wash makeup off with hand towel No tissues Shower rose squirted in all different directions Very noisy music up till midnight and starting again at 7am Black granite stairs very slippery and no contrasting nosing strip - very dangerous and a piece of glass missing from the balustrade and no handrail Pool tiles very slippery Swallows nesting all over the property so poolside is covered in bird poo every evening They are under construction but we still had to pay full price I walked on wet concrete when I crossed the road and got yelled at- there were no signs or cordoning off. I was happy to be wearing cheap flip flops which were ruined They were very forceful to pay cash on arrival and not card even though there was nothing on booking.com to say so No food covers at breakfast nor food on ice so flies were buzzing all over the meat and I found a hair in my cheese Not allowed to bring water into the property but there is no minibar or information in the room about purchasing water

Firstly, regarding the construction you mentioned — the works taking place near the property are part of the Lungomare 3 urban development project, organized and executed by the Municipality of Vlora. These works are not managed by us, and unfortunately we have no control over them. We understand the inconvenience, but we kindly ask that this matter not be attributed to our hotel. We are currently in our second season of operation, and in that time we have not received any previous complaints about slipperiness or safety related to the stairs, pool, or tiles. Nevertheless, we take all feedback seriously and will reassess everything mentioned. Concerning the breakfast: we are very proud of the quality and care we dedicate to our buffet. Everything is fresh, replenished regularly, and our staff ensures hygiene standards are respected at all times. We regret if your experience was different and will follow up internally to review it again. In terms of room amenities: • Not all room types include a bathrobe, microwave, or safe — this is clearly specified in the room descriptions. • Clothes racks are available in certain room categories and we apologize if this caused confusion. • Tissues and vanity kits are not a standard inclusion, though we are always happy to provide anything upon request. As for the music, our property is located in a lively coastal area which can be vibrant during summer months — something most guests appreciate as part of the experience. Regarding payment, we accept both cash and card, and do not force any guest to pay in a specific way. If there was a misunderstanding, we truly apologize for that. Lastly, we’re sorry to hear about your flip flops — but again, the wet concrete was not part of our premises. Proper signage is the city’s responsibility, not ours. Verified reviewThe property is gorgeous. Brand new and tastefully designed. The pool is stunning and the room was spacious. We got upgraded for free to a delux and with three girls it was plenty of space. Everything was so clean !! And smelt gorgeous. Staff were incredible. They went above and beyond for us. Always happy to help with all our request. Even outside our stay. We needed a late check out and they gave it to us right up until we left in the evening. They were so welcoming.
It would be lovely to have a restaurant for lunch and dinner however it isn’t a problem at all as there are plenty of nearby restaurants on the beach front to enjoy and local supermarkets. You will need a car to get into vlore town centre or can get taxis or a bus. I preferred this location as it was super peaceful and more secluded if you want to get away from the busy centre.

The breakfast was poor, the surrounding area is still being developed, which means a lot of construction work, unfinished buildings, the road although paved is aweful, almost seems your driving on the moon with all the potholes. No lunch or dinner options in the hotel.

Verified reviewOne of the most beautiful hotels we have visited, with a very good location. Excellent service and the staff also very communicative, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a buffet, a variety of sweets, salty foods, fruit juice and coffee included. The beach was fantastic, so was the pool. Everything was very clean and tidy. It's worth visiting.
