A pretty basic room with just a bed, not much comfort, just for sleeping for a day or two. It's one of the lowest prices in Theth and for that price it's ok. Shower was hot and strong.

Overall, it was a nice stay, simple, clean, and comfortable. Good value for money given how expensive Theth can be. I was greeted by the family owners in a very friendly manner.

The bed was uncomfortable (springs dug into our backs) but on leaving it looked like they might have been upgrading these in fact that day. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room - we understood the hosts will provide breakfast at an extra cost but this wasn’t actually offered to us upfront so you may need to specifically ask about it. We just grabbed snacks from one of the stores on our way to the bus to save on time and costs (note - we found that the store closer to the guesthouse about half way through the village “cheap market” had more options then the bigger store in town at the end of the trail.).

Great little traditional home stay in Theth. We were offered coffee on arrival and again as we were leaving the next morning. Friendly hosts. Nice little outside courtyard area. Good and quiet location, close to visit the waterfall (but note that this means it’s the opposite end of town from the end of the Valbone/Theth hike and the shops/restaurants etc). Quite basic but fine for the price as this guesthouse was cheaper than many of the other guesthouses in the village.

Its a family business and there is a little girl who speaks English and mainly deals with the guests. Her English is hard to understand and she has a difficulty understanding things herself too. We asked her what the most affordable way was to get from Teth to the Blue eye and if she had any tips for a bus or something. She said that there are no busses and it is taxi only. She recommended her cousin as taxi chauffeur and we paid 3000 lek total for back and forth for two people. Later during our stay in Teth we saw busses drive by going from Teth to the Blue eye for 1000 lek back and forth per person total. So we felt a bit scammed. Also when we asked the family, which directed us to the little girl again, about where our bus to Skhoder would stop she said the church. It turned out to be by the end of the trail. This caused a lot of confusion and stress for us. It was kind of hot in the room and there was no ac, however there was a fan. Keep in mind that the price of the accommodation does not include breakfast.

The location was okay. Keep in mind that it is still half an hour walking from the end of the trail. The family was nice even though communication had to go through a little girl who didnt speak English that well. The room was clean and the bed was okay.

We booked a room with a balcony, but there was no balcony at all. There was supposed to be an electric kettle available, but there was none and we had no access to the kitchen, we had to ask for boiling water each we needed it.

The location is perfect, the hosts were very hospitable.

The room was not that comfortable, just some beds and that’s it. We found at a bit weird that the girl working there seemed to be really young.

The people were really nice and gave as a heater when it was cold and rainy and one evening we also had a raki with one of the owners. The breakfast was big and self made and we could even take the leftovers as sandwich for the day (7euros).

Accommodation did feel expensive for what it was compared to other places in Albania BUT I think that's just Theth..it's very sought after destination

The host was super friendly, fixed everything we asked for and was overall a super nice host. She is very young but very smart and won multiple times with uno. Keep in mind that the place is still being build. The money that comes in goes directly into building the rest of the facilities/guesthouse. If you are ok with this, it is a very nice authentic place to be at. Do not expect a luxurious stay, but a really authentic one. Both the little girl, her brother and the rest of the family are trying build/create a super nice guesthouse. They made us feel very welcome.

One of the rooms smelled very much of cigarettes. The washing machine was not functional the day we arrived due to multiple power shutdowns.

The hosts were super friendly, but English communications was very simple. Really large rooms. Theth is really amazing and mountains view from the garden is awesome.

It’s quite different to other home-stays on booking.com… The main point of contact during your stay is a 12 year-old girl who is friendly but will walk into your room un-announced. At the end of our stay, she demanded payment for welcome beers offered by our host (her brother), and coffee (which booking.com said was included and we made ourselves using the communal coffee machine!). The seating area outside is shared with local builders/family members (some of whom stay late into the evening), which means there isn’t a lot of privacy. The facilities are basic which we were expecting from the listing, however given the price of other similar places and the service received it didn’t feel like great value for money.

The hosts are very helpful, particularly with directions for walks. The location is good for walking to the Blue Eye and waterfall (a bit further from the end of the Valbona trail, about 30 minutes on foot). Great food provided (€7 for breakfast and €12 for dinner) and kindly accommodated vegetarians (fried eggs, salad, grilled peppers, bean soup, cheese and homemade chips!). It feels like this place is still developing (two more rooms are being built!) and has the potential to be really good.

Expect to share your bathroom, fridge and yard with the hosting family and construction workers. The construction works and ongoing so it could be busy and noisy. And be careful about your chocolate - it can easily disappear from the fridge...

The room was too small, no facilities, not even a table to put your stuff, so we had to put all our bags on the floor. Basically all it offers is just a bed, bathroom and wifi. If u need a fridge, a closet or a table, this place its not for u.
