How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewBreakfast was very good and versatile, definitely worth it. Room itself was quite spacious and the balcony was nice too! Modern interior and comfy beds. Minibar was good too since it was very hot mid August and not too expensive at all. Rooftop pool area is beautiful and has great views.
Unfortunately our expectations were not met. The bathroom in our room smelled VERY damp and my friend's clothes started smelling weird. We only received one keycard even though there was two of us. Restaurant in the hotel is NOT open, despite it says otherwise on Booking and in the hotel's website. Our biggest problem was the loud music. The rooftop pool area was great, but the young gentlemen working at the bar had the music way too loud early in the morning. We felt like they didn't play music for the guests, but for themselves: it was couples and families with kids by the pool and the party vibes were not suitable at 10am. Our room was in the 5th floor and the music at the rooftop pool was on until midnight. Take your earplugs with you! We were looking for a place to relax and unwind but ended up in a bit of a party hotel. There was a foam party on a monday... There was also loud music blasting from the beach club down at the beach, just fyi.

Verified reviewWe stayed in a double room with a sea view. the room was a bit small for the money we paid but with a nice balcony and sea view.. The bed is also comfortable .. They have a nice swimming pool but you need to enjoy the loud music..
It's not a premium hotel max, 3 stars.. The room size for us was too small. However, it would still be ok if their service had been nicer. Which was bsolutely not! We arrived at the reception we were greeted coldly no explanation about wifi breakfast etc.. Only if we asked for it and that too with short half sentences... The guy at the reception just told us the price, and that's it .. Same treatment at checkout Not a smile or a thanks for staying. They behaved like they made us a favor that we stayed.. at 180 eur per night!!!!! We stayed in Himare and Vlore, and the people at the hotels were the sweetest friendliest people we met.. The music at the pool is loud, and when I asked for a plate from the menu, the guy told me liberally, "I can't do it, just take a salad.. they call themselves premium, but there is nothing premium in the service, that's for sure.. We traveled a lot in Albania and met lovely hotel owners and families, but I would recommend staying away from this hotel..

Verified reviewThe rooftop, pool, room itself, view & location was great- not in the crowded center but lots to do
A minor disadvantage was that there is no shower curtain/ glass door to close the shower so the water is flooding the bathroom while showering Would be great to have more variety for breakfast

Verified reviewStayed at 4 hotels during this trip and this was my least favorite. There are numerous new hotels are exceptional and this hotel is trying to compete but not delivering. I think the ratings are way too high for what it is. For the same price there are many better options. Quite a few strange rules - no sunblock in the pool- what?? Sunblock is essential and 100% going in the pool.
Feel like many corners were cut, heavy chlorine use in the pool (we didn’t use after seeing this), A/c turned off in common areas, only 1x elevator working and it was always busy. breakfast was disappointing (Greek yogurt but no toppings, nuts, granola etc).

Verified reviewI’ve been to Miami, LA, San Francisco, Vegas, and I live in New York — believe me when I say this was better than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel was outstanding: underground parking, spotless rooms, super friendly staff, and a breakfast that was absolutely delicious. The sea view, infinity pool, and rooftop were beyond amazing. And to top it all off, the owners are the very definition of Albanian hospitality. 10/10 experience!

Verified reviewEverything. The staff are so kind and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The breakfast is fantastic and so much choice. The hotel is near good restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The hotel pool is fantastic with viewing out to sea. The rooftop bar serves the best freshly made cocktails. It is a perfect place to stay.. John, the hotel owner, was so kind and helpful. I would definitely come back it was a great find.

Verified reviewThe rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was very good.
Trying to write a balanced review, I appreciate that there are many positive reviews so possibly my views are different from others. For me the noise at the hotel was ridiculous, we were in room 503 below the pool level and the music from the afternoon to the evening was non stop, generally this was just an annoyance but every day starting at 4 there was a full on techno disco going on, the base was so loud that it was vibrating the ceiling of our room so no chance of any rest. I spoke to the staff at the desk on the first day and they had no other rooms available for a number of days but offered to look to move another family from a similar room on the 2nd floor, we declined this as it would be unfair to the other family. Basically we found ourselves in a situation where we were ensuring that we were staying out until the evening when we wouldn’t be impacted by this. To be honest it got so bad and we felt so unrested and unable to relax we checked out early from the hotel. We left 2 days early and moved to another location losing 2 days that we had paid for at this hotel and paying for 2 days at a new hotel this is the 1st time I have ever felt the need to do this when staying at a hotel, but was so necessary. When checking out early the member of staff asked why we were leaving and I explained, this was met with a shrug of the shoulders. Overall the experience was bad, I could also go on about the rudeness of some of the staff, building site around the hotel, lift issues etc. overall I am glad we took the decision to move and had a lovely time at the next hotel, but I would not rate this hotel for families in the slightest.

Verified reviewThe staff was great, liked the family spirit! Everything was very new and at a high standard. Nice restaurants close bye and walking distance to the beach. Bus very close that takes you to Ksamil. 20 min walk to the Saranda ”centre”
Would have been great with some more casual food options @the pool. Was strange that your where not allowed to swim in the pool with sunscreen on.

Verified reviewLocation is decent, a bit outside of the center. 5-10min walk to the closest beach club. A lot of restaurants etc in walking distance. The rooms were small but clean. In general the hotel always felt clean. The sea view from the balconies (facing the sea) is nice.
Big disappointment in general, especially for the price charged. This is far from a "Premium hotel", but feels more like a small local family business that is still being built up. The service was one of the worst ever encountered in a hotel. From the beginning to the end of the trip we never saw one employee smile or make us feel welcome. We almost felt like they didn't want us to be there. The rooftop pool has a lot of potential and looks very nice in general. But the speakers are constantly blasting music at too high volume that it isn't enjoyable and you just want to leave. Furthermore, again the only interaction on the rooftop we had with the staff was that they told us to (1) not bring any towels to the beach and (2) that we are required to remove any sunscreen before entering the pool. Fair enough, but then they proceed to do a pool "foam party" at 4pm every day where the complete pool is full of foam and soap... Other things we didn't like: - "Mountain view" rooms basically look at a wall and a building ruin. - Elevator from parking not working - Breakfast hours are quite short (8-10am) and we never made it to breakfast. - Cleaning ladies just enter the room without knocking, which has happened 2x. Overall, in developed countries standards this hotel is probably a 2 or 3 star hotel, but never a Premium or 5 star hotel as it is described on certain platforms. So it feels very overpriced for what it is. I would not come back.

Verified reviewParking, improved room, great location, cleanliness, and a newly built hotel.
Disappointment — this is definitely not a 5-star hotel The sea view from the room was beautiful — the only thing that actually felt “5-star”. Everything else, unfortunately, was a big letdown. Breakfast was very average — despite more variety than in other hotels, the food quality was much worse. We had stayed earlier in Tirana at a hotel for 50 euros per night, and the food there was way better. The hotel prices are absurd — beer costs 7 euros, while in normal bars and restaurants in Albania you pay between 2 and 4 euros. (And I wouldn’t complain even if it were 10, if the hotel lived up to its stars.) Service was far below what you’d expect from a place calling itself 5-star. But the worst part was the situation with my lost power bank. I accidentally left it (brand: Baseus) on the rooftop by the pool, under a sunbed. Two days later, at check-out, I went to ask about it. Then things got strange: one staff member seemed to recognize it, but after suspicious conversations in Albanian, another claimed it belonged to his sister. Even though I gave a precise description and showed proof of purchase, they stalled, denied, and acted very unconvincingly. Eventually, they returned the power bank — but it was scratched all over, and the brand logo had been deliberately rubbed off. It was obvious someone tried to cover it up. And the final insult? I was told, “Even if it’s not yours, consider it a gift from me.” I don’t need a “gift” — I just wanted honesty and basic respect, especially from a hotel that claims to be 5-star. Better if they just said they didn't find it - and that would've been it - no complaints. But instead, they made me look like a fool. PS: In the first room we were given, there were wire hangers twisted out of metal, but no wardrobe or even anywhere to hang them — we had to hang our clothes on the lamps 🤦🏻♂️ (5 stars, really?). Fortunately, after we asked, they moved us to a different room — for that, we’re truly grateful.
