Stepping onto this property is like entering a fairytale, the photos perfectly match the reality. David was there ready to meet us and help with our bags plus parking. David was the most amazing host, not only did he offer and prorogued lifts, he also made us feel at home in the morning with coffees, juices and croissants (the best we’ve ever had). The room was ornate, the bathroom even more so! We truly had the best experience and are so grateful for our time! Thank you David - we absolutely loved getting to know your beautiful part of the world.

A suggestion i can make is that the towels were clean but they didn't smell as clean. maybe using a detergent with more aroma would be nicer.

The place is all in historical vintage style like you’re living 1000 years ago every piece of furniture has its own story every step every inch of the room speaks history and vintage its like a time travel experience Amazing and i totally recommend

There's nothing not to dislike. The other reviews and description shows and tells it exactly how it is.

Firstly the host is amazing. So thoughtful, so willing to help and give advice and tips on where to go. The house itself has its own charm and unique style but not loosing comfort. Great location if you like to be a 15 minute walk / 5-10 drive to and from livelier locations. The best beaches in our opinion and the hosts are a 10 min walk down the hill.

Absolutely nothing if not for the fact that the pool being built wasn't yet ready. I am sure next year when I come with my crew and rent the whole place out it will be there.

All of it. It is a unique experience, tailored to a cultured and open type of clientele. One that can appreciate history and creativity. The villa manager is of exceptional taste and background. Their father built the villa by hand and has made the decor something exceptional that is a must see gem of Thermi. I highly recommend this place hands down and eyes shut, and I have visited a lot of places in the world being an ex Booking.com lead designer

A steep hill down to the beach, but having said that, David was availale to drop us off and pick us up, a perfect host

David and Elio (brothers) were fabulous hosts, you stay in their home and are made to feel very welcome and safe . Plenty of seating areas to share with them and others to chat and drink, or find a quiet place to be alone. Their home was very interesting to say the least, it's like staying in a museum, you saw something new every day. We were able to use the kitchen at any time which had coffee, fresh water and utensils. Our room and the whole of their home was clean and very comfortable, with a large fridge, if you like quirky this is the place for you. There is a well stocked shop a few strides away and the home has fabulous views of the hills.... David contacted us on What's app, and was there to be contacted if needed throughout our stay We would definitely stay here again if passing through, we stayed here for 3 nights, it's a great place to recharge, unwind and reset ,,,, Thankyou boys for a great stay Craig & Ann-Marie

Nothing! Although a trash bin would have been useful to have in the bedroom.

David & his brother were incredible hosts. They could not have made us feel more comfortable - they were kind, helpful & attentive. They kindly offered us lifts to the beach & dinner to save getting a taxi. The property was a great find, very clean & was decorated like a traditional Albanian home, but with all of the modern necessities. We had such a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back when they’ve finished the swimming pool! Thanks again

The most beautiful property. It felt like I was at home for the time I spent there. David, the host was exceptionally helpful. His recommendations did not Disappoint!! This is a must a stay if visiting Dhermi. The house is incredible. It’s out of the tourist area but close to everything!!!

Amazing, unique and cosy place. David was an exceptional host, always willing to take an extra mile. For example, when our car got broken in mountains 1.5hr away he was ready to jump into his car and come to get us(!) Luckily, we solved it with our rental company. David also gave us very good recommendations for places to visit, or to dine out. We too enjoyed our coffee talks with him during which we learned the core about this beautiful country. Next time we are in Albania we will definitely come back to this place.

The grounds and courtyard area are under construction with much rubbish about. The decor is eclectic but could be better consolidated to give a truer authentic castle ambiance

The owner has worked hard to give it a castle, cobblestone, ancient appeal. Each room and area being unique and distinctive. Property feels spacious and there is parking included which is a difficult task in Dhermi

wow! never have i travelled and stayed in a villa where the host is so friendly & treats us as family! solomon & his sons are such kind, wonderful and incredible people who we had the pleasure of getting to know and having the most interesting conversations with. the house is incredible with the most interesting interior/furniture and small details. we want to say thank you again for such a wonderful stay, and we hope to be back next year maybe during the winter months and make the most of the gorgeous fireplaces and amazing views.
