We have stayed here for 3 days on our honeymoon. It was everything we hoped for, and more! Large room, modern bathroom, comfortable bed, a small fridge. Balcony with a great view. But even better than the room, were the people that work at the hotel/restaurant. In the morning, you walk from the hotel to the restaurant at street-level (2 minute walk), where they make delicious breakfast, made from their own products of the farm. We've also had dinner twice at the restaurant. The food is good and there's plenty of it! ;-). Also loved the hike to the artificial lake behind the hotel; the owner can show you the path.

Nothing really! If I have to name something, it's the music that's being played at the restaurant, we could quietly hear it from our room during the day & evening. But it's not too loud and they turn it off later in the evening. So it didn't bother us. Seems to be a normal thing in Albania ;-).

It was very comfortable! The staff was very friendly and nice! Nature and surroundings were beautiful!

Everything! The accommodation was clean & comfortable and the food in the restaurant was first class. 99% of the food was from their own farm too! The owner was delightful and was kind enough to offer us a free upgrade too!

We arrived around 1500 hours driving along SH75from Korce, where we visited the Cathedral, bazaar old town and the beer brewery, free tour in the brewery by a very enthusiastic manager. Road was good and google maps worked fine. Checked in at the restaurant we were the only guests for the rooms in the new villa. We were upgraded at the same price to larger rooms, the villa seems almost brand new. We were told of a 3Km walk through the woods accross a reservoir and back which great to give us an appetite. We ate that night in the log cabin restaurant and Ulan served us recommending the set meal for 4 which was lamb meat with vegetables, chips and salad. We paid the bill for accommodation and food for that night which for 2 rooms and food with drinks for 4 came to €207to include breakfast the next day. Rooms were comfortable and very clean with excellent views. All was quiet, very peaceful and picturesque. Breakfast was a little disjointed as they were not quite ready for us but we had an omelet, some yoghurt, bread and jam with coffee and milk. It appears one brother speaks excellent English and one who we met not quite so good but they were very welcoming. The next day one of our party went walking in the hills and the remainder went driving in the countryside, we did get a little sidetracked with google maps but ended up enjoying the countryside and a couple of churches. Once off the main roads village roads in this area are unmade and pretty rough, we did a few Kilometers towards Voskopje on a reasonable road but then the last 18Km were unadvisable. That evening we again ate at the restaurant this time cheese and leek pie and pork chops all delicious, once more paid the bill for accommodation 2 rooms, food, and drinks, for 4 plus breakfast the following day €180. Breakfast again a little disjointed but we had doughnuts with jam, yoghurt, coffee.

We could have done with bottled water in the room, the language barrier was a little awkward.

I could let you know how wonderful the bed was, how shiny and clean everything was, how good the food was, etc., etc., etc. but what was overly exceptional about Sofra Kolonjare were the people. From the moment we pulled up until the very last moment we drove away we were taken in as family. Our experience here was like no other and will remain in our hearts and memories until we return again.

We did not book a longer a stay!

Everything was great!!! we will definitely visit it again. The room was beautiful and spotless. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The owners are very polite as well as the staff!!!! Also available and traditional food.
