How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was no iron in the room, you have to pay them to iron your clothes.

We had a tremendous stay at Seaside Hotel in Vlorë. This is a very nice and sympatic family-driven hotel, and we would love to come back. Rooms and facilities are all extremely clean, tidy, orderly and well-managed. The staff is service-oriented, polite and helpful, and staffmembers give you a very personal attention. Breakfast is good with a nice variety of local specialities as well as international dishes.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful! Starting with the nice sweet girl at the reception.Very pleasant and friendly owners. The rooms are very comfortable, white linens and towels. Very, very clean everywhere! Good internet. The air conditioning works well. Breakfasts : very large selection, everything fresh and delicious, at any time there is enough! Staff : very nice people, all ready to help and answer any questions at any time! Location: 2 minutes walk to the sea. Near a lot of cafes, restaurants, stores. Everything you need in walking distance. Summary: I have been in many hotels in different countries... this hotel is in many ways better than many 5☆. It remains to wait a little when the construction around will be finished, and then it will be very cozy.

The shower water alternates between hot/cold, doesn't maintain a consistent temperature. No free water included, except at breakfast.
Great, brand new hotel. Good location, just a block off the beach/lungomare. Lots of restaurants abd shops nearby. Great breakfast included in the morning. Very comfortable beds and good ac.

I don't think there is even one bad thing about this hotel, we liked it so much. Starting from instructions "how to get to hotel" and ending with great attitude from the hosts. Thank you so much for having us. Very beautiful, clean, nice smelling hotel with breakfast, private parking and nice terrace. 1 min of walking distance and you are at the beach and main street with plenty of cafe and restaurants.

This is an perfect example for an exceptionally well driven family business. Huge respect for the them. Amazed how they could transform a family house to a boutique hotel. Well done each part!

- parking place in Vlore is scarce - this hotel does have a couple of private spots but they are extremely hard to get to - a lot is building in the direct neighbourhood (but it was not noisy)
- extra breakfast (tasty + variety of food) - close to the promenade and sea but very quiet - comfortable - friendly staff

Not we didn’t like but it was hard to adjust the temperature of shower. Suddenly gets cold then very hot.
Hotel was immaculately clean, comfortable. Owner/manager was very friendly, attentive and kind guy.

They had a lovely terrace which would be nice to have a drink at on an evening however there are plenty of bars on the front 2 min walk away
Immaculate. Lovely rooms. Quiet but very genuine and friendly owners. very kind gave our son a gift for his birthday (bottle of wine) . Location perfect. Instructions to get there were absolutely fab - you tube video. No problem at all to find and park.

Has to pay for parking. You have to drive on the pedestrian to reach the hotel, which is quite strange, but that what it is in this area...
Very new hotel and rooms. Good and modern rooms. Has air conditioner; good and very quiet. Good breakfast. Staff was nice to help us with arranging a boat trip. Located on the beach strip, but "seaside", so it's not noisy. Very clean place.

Difficult to find the entrance to park but staff can help. Also only a sheet was provided on the beds, a blanket in the closet would’ve been ideal.
Great little hotel in a quiet area right near the beach and main activities. Comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast.

Hotel entrance: should find a solution to not have to drive in the main sidewalk
Staff was friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, answering all my questions and offering tips on exploring the area. My room was clean and comfortable and clean, great breakfast. Position was great, central and very close to the main boulevard along the sea and there are also plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Overall, Seaside hotel is a good choice for a relaxed beach vacation.

All was perfect.
Beautiful Hotel, very new. Everything was very clean, the stuff was extremely kind and the breakfast has a lot of variety. Location very close to the sea and in this area the sea water seems the best compared to other areas of Vlore.

Perfect location, just 50m from the beach. Free parking at the hotel. Really friendly staff, that helped us with everything we needed. Hotel itself was really clean, well designed and everything seemed pretty much brand new. Also great breakfast with really good coffee!
