How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewI liked the location and the cleanliness also their kitchen for maybe lunch and dinner was great.
Breakfast was repetitive, the same things every day and at some point you just cant eat it anymore. The furniture is a bit old, the pillows are very very uncomfortable. Also they don’t allow you to stay wherever you want in the beach, there is a specific location for hotel clients (which is not that good)
First you got the umbrella for free even it was not free at all ! Second, you booked the room you had: if you book the other type of the room you pay it more but you want to save money so you booked a cheaper room! Third: about breakfast please don't mention anything....we see everyday how much you eat every morning and how many times fullfill your plates! Please! Thanks you

Verified review2 minutes walk from the beach, minimarket and restaurants, but in a relatively quite place. The restaurant at the hotel is highly recommendable for dinner. The beach is amazing, with clear clean water.
Thin doors = noise from hall and reception. The entire bathroom floor was wet after showering. Be aware that even if you are told you have free sunbeds, you only have two for each room, no matter how many persons are in the room. They ask for the room numbers at the beachclub. The beachtown is boring (go there for the beach, noting else) and many of the restaurants are overpriced when it comes to quality and service
Thanks for the review ! We had live music and you did not join! we have wattersports you never asked to join. We offer boat trips you never joined ! We have nice spa services and you never asked! All these services you did not join because maybe you're expecting to be free of charge, but it's impossible! About the prices of other restaurant I am not the responsible one but about mine yes, and you NEVER came to eat a meal: in breakfast time of course you came,the first client to eat breakfast in whole hotel was you! The only moments we saw you in our restaurant was the free meal offered in your room rate. About the sun beds: no comment!!!! You had umbrella and sun seats for each of you,why you need to have extra???? About the room number of course we have to ask because you take beach towels there and we need to make inventory! Doesn't exist inventory in your country or you thought "oh common is a low cost country tourism"? I took more time to answer especially to you because you had lots of efforts from us and never appreciated! Have a nice trip back home

The whole area is now just a dirty and messy construction site. Unfortunately, the Riviera is doomed ☹️

Noise from the dogs barking in the empty building across the road.
Yes this is correct dear guest! The biggest problem in Albania is the stray dogs shelters- NO ONE CARE ABOUT THEM! We tried to sterilized around 12 and we feed them as well but this is out of our possibilities! In the meantime oir government sleeps deep... Thanks for being our guests!

The swimming pool water was blurry and showed signs of lacking maintenance. Ants were found in the bed.

Verified reviewThe rooms were authentic, very well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a large size. Ideal location, right next to the beach. Plenty of parking. Swimming pool was great with plenty of sunshine throughout the day. The food in the restaurant was really tasty. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. The staff are really helpful and always reply to any request I had.  What a brilliant hotel

Verified reviewthis hotel was absolutely superb, located right near the beach. The rooms are incredibly comfortable including the bed. The room was actually very large. And had its own balcony. Very quiet at night. The staff were amazing. Really helpful and professional. The food in the restaurant was really amazing. It was one of the best meals we had in Albania. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody and would not hesitate staying again. 10 out of 10.
