I liked everything about this place. The location was excellent to stay and visit Berat. The view from the balcony was very enjoyable. The breakfast was very good and we received a good welcome from the owner. The place was up a hill and the road to get there is a little tight so before you arrive communicate with the owner so he can assist you with parking. Please download WhatsApp as this is the most common app to communicate in Albania. I highly recommend this property and I would book again if I visit Berat on the future.

Cute hotel with a beautiful view of the city. The room was very clean. Excellent breakfast. The owner was helpful and even parked our car for us because the roads are so steep and narrow.

Quaint hotel tucked away in the old town of Berat. The host was incredibly accommodating, and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight—one of the best omelettes I’ve had so far. If you’re interested in wine tasting, be sure to ask the host for recommendations—they can also arrange a taxi for a very reasonable fee. Highly recommend this place for a cosy and welcoming stay.

The lane up to the house is quite steep so wouldnt suit anyone with mobility issues and the car park is approx 50 mts from the house so you have to carry your suitcases uphill.

The owner is very friendly and efficient and came down the street to show us where to park our car nearer to this house. The room and breakfast area are lovely and there is a great view of the town from there. It is very quiet at night for sleeping. This house if centrally located to the tourist attractions of the town, ie the Castle, the Mosques and restaurants. We enjoyed the 'Friendly Restaurant' in the town by the river - great food. There was live music in the town square one of the nights we were there.

It was slightly tricky to get the car up the hill and in the garage but the owner immediately asked if we needed help before we even asked. It was good that we had a garage as parking in Berat is not easy.

The place was perfect with a beautiful view of Berat from the balcony, the location was amazing and the owner went out of his way to help us, even to park the car in the garage, as it was on a hill and maybe a little tricky due to the cobbled street. We could communicate well with the owner in Italian but there was also someone to speak to in English. Communication with the owner on WhatsApp was very good too. The breakfast was lovely and filling. The room was spacious, with AC, small fridge and the bathroom was attached to the room. We would definitely recommend.

Nothing really, I don’t think we’d realised in advance that although the room had a private bathroom it wasn’t en suite, it was across the corridor. Not a problem for us but worth mentioning.

Really nice breakfast served on the terrace overlooking Berat, lovely. Good location a short walk to the centre though the accommodation was up a very steep track, the last stretch very steep and unsurfaced could be slippery if wet. Very friendly host.

Bathroom was private but across the hallway. Difficult way up by car (steep uphill), but the host Igli guided us with directions. He was super nice and helped us with parking the car!

This place was such a lovely surprise! From the moment we arrived, it felt warm and welcoming — like a home away from home ( you can even wash your clothing there). The view from the accommodation is absolutely stunning. Every day started with a delicious homemade breakfast prepared by the owner, which we enjoyed out on the terrace. Make sure you visit the Berat Castle while you’re here — it’s a must-see! You can wander around for hours, exploring old churches, little shops, and taking in the amazing views from all around the castle walls. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Would definitely stay here again — peaceful, comfortable, and full of charm.

The property is very well located and in a quite area. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and the view was amazing. If you are the “room with view” kind of person, you don’t want to miss this one. The “breakfast with a view” was also very good and complete. Definitely not feeling hungry after it. The bed was a bit uncomfortable: it sort of leaned down to one side. Felt like I was going to roll off. We sorta play-fought as to who got that side! And this next point is really not a complaint, but be aware that it's a steep walk up the hill to get there. But of course that's why you have that great view!

The terrace view! The owner/operator! And that free parking was available. The breakfast! On the terrace! The shower was great and looked nice too. Small TV but it worked well. Quiet at night.By the way, a tip to easily find the location: on Google Maps, find "Gate of the Pasha" and go up the narrow street directly opposite. Oh, we also liked the owner's dinner restaurant recommendation.
