How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewAwesome location, restaurant, breakfast buffet has an extensive array of food choices. Hotel exterior and interior is a real eye catcher with leisurely nooks to relax. Infinity pool at restaurant and directly at frontline of beach with a breathtaking view of Vlore skyline day with a stunning nighttime view of the city lights. Excellent eager to please staff, free onsite valet parking. 50 yards from the Regina scenic ferry ride at a super cheap price. 5 star accommodations at a reasonable price. Will definitely recommend and stay there again.
It was fully booked so we had to change hotels and switched to there sister hotel the Regina Palms it was also excellent with two pools outside bars and both had live evening entertainment and a great atmosphere.

Verified reviewGreat location, nice water and spectacular view. The beach was clean and quiet and so was the hotel. The food and coffee were good. The service was at its best with friendly and young employees.
The pillows (very hard and uncomfortable). Our shower had a water leak so we had to be careful with the water usage or else we would have flooded the bathroom.

Verified reviewThe view is great, the room was enormous. Swimming pool is super if you have the pleasure to have a bed, and also a good one, because some are broken.
There is beach across the street but it’s with stones, therefore we went to the swimming pool But there are just too few beds. For the rest it’s full of tables, so not a real nice view. The hotel belongs to a group and say on their website: Fine Dining Savor exceptional cuisine where local flavors meet international gastronomy. But the breakfast and lunch wasn’t. We had all-inn but where invited to have a la carta and that was much better. So don’t take the all-inn! There are also a few restaurants on walking distance 5 min. the WiFi is worse but so is Vodafone 5g tourist pack, I think it’s the location!

Verified reviewBeachfront and good location. The hotel's got a good set of facilities and the rooms are quite big and nice.
Attitude of the staff is very very bad. Felt a bit racists attitude towards us as we were British Residents from India. They said they upgraded our room but we had basically paid the same price of a deluxe suite for a junior suite and hence the upgrade. We were charged every time before we even had our meal, like we would dine and dash. At one point we were even charged way more than what we owed and said it was a mistake, but that was the second time I caught the same guy doing it. There was a party that night and cracker bits were found outside our rooms and this was very concerning as what if we were out in the balcony. We were not made aware of this party, else we would have been cautious. Even the pool next morning had cracker bits in it till afternoon.

On the contrary, they welcomed you in the most friendly and professional way possible, as they do with all our guests regardless of their background. Regarding the room upgrade, please note that our hotel has only four suites in total, and we offered you the best one available. It was indeed an upgrade, not a downgrade, and it was given in good faith. As for the restaurant bill, the waiter simply brought the bill to your table — this is a standard procedure in international restaurants, where the bill is often presented after the order is served. At no point were you forced to make the payment immediately. Concerning the overcharge claim, every charge was clearly itemized on the invoice, and there was absolutely no bad intention. Any correction that was made was done transparently and in your presence. We regret that the party caused some inconvenience. It was a private celebration, and we understand your concerns about the firecracker remnants. Your feedback has been noted, and we will ensure better communication with our guests in such cases going forward. We always strive to improve, and we thank you for your comments. Verified reviewThe hotel itself is well-maintained, with spacious rooms and a clean environment. The beach bar was excellent — the staff there were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Parking was always available, which made things more convenient. The food at the restaurant was very good, fresh and well-prepared.
❌ Areas for improvement: Unfortunately, the restaurant service was lacking. Staff seemed disorganized, and despite the good food, the prices felt too high compared to the level of service. We made our reservation via Google and also followed up with a phone call, making two specific requests: an early check-in around 11:00 AM and a baby crib in the room. Both were confirmed over the phone and in the booking. However, when we arrived, none of our requests had been registered. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the reception staff were running around asking each other who took the booking, which only delayed things further. We had to wait until 1:00 PM to check in, as per their standard policy. One of the receptionists did later apologize and offered us a room on a higher floor, which was supposedly a better one — and we appreciated the gesture. 🚫 Other concerns: At the pool, if you didn’t wake up at 5:00 AM to reserve a sunbed with a towel (and then disappear for hours), you were left with no options except plastic chairs. This was frustrating and unfair. As a parent with a baby stroller, getting from the hotel to the beach was challenging due to the lack of proper ramps — accessibility should really be improved.

Check in was quick and smooth.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful making the stay amazing, Was pleased with reception being my first time visit in the area. The ambience and atmosphere was really good. Room was clean spacious and with a very pretty view and access to the pool. The food was excellent { very rare in my experience and was quiet amazed}-The buffet included both local and international choices and this was a real treat- was fresh and delicious. The infinity pool and live music in the evening{some} created such a lovely atmosphere 10/10. Overall I had such a great experience and felt well taken care of, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Verified reviewThe hotel has a beautiful interior design and great location, also great beach in front. Restaurant and beach bar staff is very friendly
The reception staff was rude. We came directly from another beach to check in to this hotel and my boyfriend and friend were carrying beach towels etc. The reception couldn't tell they were with me and started laughing about them and then when I told them they are with me, they looked embarrassed and tried to justify it by saying oh we were not expecting any more guests which is a dumb reply. Also why would that be funny. Also the restaurant is right in front of the pool. We were having dinner and the pool guy decided to throw a bunch of chemicals in the pools while people were having drinks and food around it. We started coughing and basically couldn't eat our food anymore. Everybody had to move. The waiter did offer to move our table a bit further from the pool but that stuff was already in our food. Also our room had a hornet nest on the balcony which seemed to not have any more hornets in them but still the price you pay that should not be there.

Verified reviewAmazing reception from Rudi. Professional, welcoming and informative. Room- initially ascetically pleasing however petals under the bed not cleaned. Fridge old water bottle from previous guests and cornet to ice cream. Fridge could not close door as ice book thick ice needed defrosting and had leaked water. The fridge door still wouldn’t close so unable to keep water cold.This was promptly dealt with ( later discovered old ice cream). Hotel was very well designed lovely infinity pool. Private bridge to beach. Rudi was receptive when we checked out.
We opted to have the Euro 25 buffet which was mediocre at best. Poor choice of food mains and desserts not value for money. Vegetables and chips cold escalated to restaurant manager who informed us they hot rings were not working which we thought was unacceptable. White wine included was rancid and unpalatable. The hot drink machine at breakfast was crowded causing long ques. Whilst we were getting drinks our breakfast which was not completed was removed ( bag clearly still at table).
